Mio Akiyama seiyuu Yoko Hikasa recently discovered K-ON!’s popularity apparently does not extend to IdolMaster fans – she was humiliatingly snubbed and even given the cold shoulder by fellow seiyuu at a recent event.
Hikasa reports attending a recent live IdolMaster event as a regular attendee, but far from being mobbed by adoring fans after being uncovered as she seems to have expected, she was ignored completely and not a single attendee even recognised her.
Feeling lonely, she resolved to greet Haruka seiyuu Eriko Nakamura and then leave, but was rebuffed at the backstage reception.
After managing to wrangle her way backstage, even Nakamura snubbed her, warmly greeting her with “What? Why are you here? Nobody asked you to come…”
Bastards!
So she went to an Idolmaster event expecting to be a big shot but got lonely and depress because she wasn’t? Oh wow, just wow. Even if she did have fans there I doubt they would recognize her in the crowd even if they even knew she was gonna be there.
Can’t comment about the “backstage incident” without more specific details from a credible source but what was she doing backstage anyways. Did she know the other voice actresses or did she felt she was special somehow? I imagine their reaction was the same for any stranger who suddenly show up backstage, though they could had been nicer about I guess (assuming its a fact that they weren’t).
I’m guessing 99% of the people here have never even played Idolmaster huh? Seriously, stop comparing and judging things that you have never even played/seen, its annoying. Its even more annoying when its due to fanboyish or bias hatred.
lol you nerds crack me up. Ridiculous nerd rage, the internet is never short of em.
Nooooo….!!! TT_TT
Poor girl.
