Bleach “In Last Season”

Bleach followers are puzzling over a remark which suggests the anime may be due to end soon.
The suspect utterance was made on the site of “ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D,” the band responsible for the anime’s latest ED song:
“I think our tune is perfect for the final season’s climax – please check it out!”
This would suggest an April end to the anime.
The original remark was quickly amended to something uninteresting (suggesting it was unauthorised and of sufficient importance to warrant swift removal, but of course not confirming it was actually true), although not before the fires of speculation were lit online.
With the anime apparently still maintaining its popularity and the author of the original having hinted the manga will continue at least until the end of the universe, it is hard for fans to know what to make of the remarks.
The fact that the anime has apparently almost exhausted the original manga’s material may be the major issue – this would suggest either a permanent ending, a temporary hiatus to allow the original to regain its lead, or a return of the dreaded “filler arc.”

Probably just taking a break to allow the manga to get some more content. Would prefer that over a filler arc.
I, for one, don't mind fillers. I watch (not read) Bleach for its inter-character-hilarity primarily, shinigami coping with the real world are always worth a chuckle. Only thing I really dislike are Ichigo's asexual reactions to cockteases and fanservice. Japan, please grow up already ...
I thought the zanpakuto arc was mostly decent; the Bount one, on the other hand, was horrid.
What, Bleach ending?
Not in this century.
nor in my Laundry room,I just bought a new bottle.
:D
so much for that 10 year plan I heard
thats for the manga... maybe they're planning to re-make it to actually follow the manga... which means... yeah... right..
all anime follow the manga, if u exclude the parts where its not the same as the manga
"it will be Bleach shippuden!!"
Oh please, no...
Another movie, special, anything but that good sir, please.....
@diamonddust
I think you should put MissingNo in your avatar...
Its warcry will bleed children and become the harbinger of the apocolypse.
Bleach ended for me after a certain tanned beauty with her exposed under boobs got betrayed and killed by Aizen.
(Aizen is also on my SHIT-LIST along with Accelerator from Toaru Majutsu no Index)
Now i have a urge to download the last episode to see if they have a preview.
Well it doesn't make sense because if they are planning to stop after the end of this arc why are they still putting fillers everywhere they can? The arc finished in the manga so they can show it without more fillers and at least end the anime on a better note.
Anyway even if the anime stops is just temporary because the manga is so slow that Bleach would be forced to have fillers 10 months out of 12. Kubo needs 10 manga chapters to show the events other mangaka show in one.
So if it stops expect a comeback of Bleach II anime after a year or two.
Bleach does follow the Manga, if you exclude filler episodes.
it will be Bleach shippuden!!
@diamonddust But the kira-kira effect is overwhelmingly cute for Miku. And Flareon? lol
@Yoshii-kun I'll stick with starry backgrounds and flareon is my fav pokemon along with eevee and it's evolutions.
@Yoshii-kun ^_^
@diamonddust That sure brings back memories. I think I remember begging my parents to get me all the movies at one time. Wonder if still has them...
@Yoshii-kun i think i'll stop there with the props and start changing backgrounds.
@Diamonddust
Interesting evolving avatar you have there.
A day, a prop?
Inb4 Bleach Shippuuden
-Bleach will continue until the end of the universe.
-The anime may be ending soon.
Therefore, 2012 must really be the end of the universe....
Either way, the forum doesn't really care since the manga has dragged on long enough that each individual plot arc are long enough for individual artists to write ENTIRE SERIES. Seriously, Death Note was shorter than the entire Hueco Mundo Arc and it was TWICE as satisfying.
Or Bleach GT..
"Bleach" and "ending" are two quite fragile words you wouldn't want to misuse.
They're just going to have another season called Clorox.
@Megidola
Along with manga ban and shittier than usual politicians having their way, it really seems to point to the end of the world.
Well, to the sharp spoons up there... There is a difference between the anime and the manga. The manga is the raw material directly from Tite Kubo, while the anime is made from said raw material, and at times, just goo found somewhere.
Not rly. Only the plot will end. Now we will get 10 years of retrospections
Eh... I don't care about that shitty manga/anime either way but what say does the BAND have on the matter anyway?
Good fillers are good
e.g. The Zanpaktou Arc
i think they're already doing the filler with episode 304.
fillers are nice, if they provide more depth to the characters.
All three need to end. I'm confident that doing so will do nothing but help the industry. They are getting in the way.
I would love for this to be true, so that maybe they can get it together & then finally either remaster the series like with what FMA did or at least get a good start for the arc the manga seems to want to start which I don't understand why, why not just end the series...
In short, I hope that the series ends & then after a while either start back up from where they left off, start all over again or just leave it alone, period...
I would love to hope that the Big 3 ending would help the industry but... They're bringing in so much revenue to an otherwise troubled industry that it's hard to think that Shounen Jump would last long without them. When Fullmetal Alchemist ended, people already started speculating that the industry would take a hit-- casual manga readers who saw it as one of their mainstays and a gateway to other manga might find the ending a chance to "grow out of it" and move on to something else-- but if the Big 3 did the same, who knows how many readers would be lost.
In short... a necessary evil.
One Piece should not end now LOL! And One Piece is the only anime of Naruto and Bleach that is still "good".
Bleach shut up! DBZ is the Best! Lol...
FINALLY. You can't imagine how long I've been waiting for my whites to be clean.
Bleach ending before shitppuuden....or should I say fillerppuuden?
Never going to happen....the guy is most likely trolling...with it being close to ending in "April" of all months.
@money
naruto might have that but do they have to spend 300+ episodes doing it?
most animes can manage the same amount of plot, character developement etc. in less than 24 episodes
Hate to break this to you, but naruto is vastly superior to bleach in almost every aspect. unlike bleach, it actually has a evolving story plot, decent character development, and few to none plot holes.
As to where bleach is just one random event, after another, which mostly consist of ichigo coming close to death, or actually dying, and coming back as super ichigo. there is no actual balance of power, or any realism for that matter.
22:59 anon
Pretty much a good chunk of the Naruto fanbase doesn't give a flying fuck about the anime TO BEGIN WITH. The manga actually doesn't take that long to get to the point unless it's a gigantic arc (like the Pein arc and the current Ninja World War ones), but 300+ episodes is only because they keep adding filler shit in the anime that DOES NOT have anything to do with the manga chapters.
good animes can manage the same amount of plot, character developement etc. in roughly 24 episodes and still have time left for fillers
-fixed
Am I the only one who see a pattern here? Reborn anime went on hiatus last year, One Piece will probably have a small hiatus and return as "New World" and now Bleach. Honestly I dont think it will be the ending and my guess is that they'll be back with a different name after some months.
Both Bleach and Naruto are shit.
Bleach Fummofu
Fumoffu was at least hilarious.
Let's just hope that if Bleach does indeed end, some of the side characters will get their own spin-off. I'm thinking Rangiku and Yoruichi would make for a quite interesting series..
Oh Come, I like that anime although some episode contain unwanted arc or funny episode kinda annoying but I still like it.
It end today or tomorrow I don't actually care, it's not in my watch list. There is tonnes of animes that can replace that anime, in a season by season replacement.
That guy want to be like Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) which will never happen.
Probably a hiatus if they can't extend the filler arc they're working on and if the manga needs a lot of time to catch up (it does. The anime is already VERY closely nipping at the heels of the manga. There just is no space to work with).
Also, the Aizen vs Ichigo fight is in a way a climax of one MAJOR arc (Maybe the climax of 2 or 3 total arcs the series will see). So it's not entirely untrue.
Last I noticed we got Shinigami Shoujo coming up in the arc along with Ichigo doing ANOTHER power revival/multiplier... (yawn) Filler arc most likely
