The uncensored broadcast of Motto To Love-Ru’s 10th episode continues to get ecchier and ecchier, with only the barest hint of censorship left.
Expect this season to be the last anyone hears of To Love-Ru, whether in anime or manga form – the recent ban will in all probability annihilate it in one way or another.
Ahhh... finally the way anime is ment to be. Uncensored. However I dont think the productions in Asia will allow it to be uncensored. Will wait for the US to pick this up to avoid censorship fear... IF they ever will.
RIP ecchii. Japan will sux next year. RIP anime and manga actually.
A little bit over pessimistic are we?
That law has not even been enacted yet, and it's losing a lot of support as we speak.
Just you made it look like an abomination to human rights or whatever and make a big worldwide fuss about it then you will surely have the matter ended for good before it can do any harm. Everything said up to now by Ishihara and the DPJ is totally unfounded, and as they fight so hard to make a case out of nonsense, easy it will be for anyone with enough brain cells to counter it base solely on their unacuracy and prejudice.
Anime and Manga are far from dead.
Not until it ends with a complete parade of voluptuos naked girls with no censor up to the pubes in primetime our!
If it ends, make it flashy =P
It's not RIP anything just yet. Bill has ot finally pass for one and if it does, it if only for Tokyo at this point. I'm pretty sure they will pick up and move their base if it does become a passed bill. Japan has plenty of cities that I'm sure would welcome the publishing industy.
while they may have other cities that would welcome them where are they going to sell their manga/anime? most the sales are in Tokyo plus they wouldnt be able to air it in Tokyo either so it's a moot point to move cities as it would still not solve anything
The downfall of tokyo has begun as Comiket / Akibara / Otaku-dom move on!... or not, but I predict the fall of Anime for decades to come if this evil spreads like the cancer it truly is.
Otaku will most likely to follow them because of the ban, as I doubt they will want to stay in a city that remove what they like in the first place. It'll also mean that other cities will be able to grow now, if all the publisher decides to move out, but the downside is that it'll leave a lot of empty building in Tokyo.
Look on the bright side, sometimes the people DON'T even follow the laws. I personally think this is not going to stop. Look at us, we're downloading and that's definitely going against the law. What happens to us? NOTHING. It just goes to show that this ban is kind of pointless if people are not ready to follow it.
Most of you might already know but since trianglecomplex hasn't posted anything about it yet as of the time I posted this the TOKYO BAN has been passed! Id totally be crying in real tears now if it weren't for the fact that there are other people in my house
BTW this show rocks although I seem to find it difficult to find facebook links to the uncensored eps give me a site I despise Megavideo right down to my very core!
or not, the law is too vague to stick around for long people just arent going to take it, this doesnt just affect us it affects games too, games like Metal Gear Solid Rising Final Fantasy Resident Evil Silent Hill Call of Duty or hell even most Nintendo games. the men who made this law up are senile and unaware of what they'v done they picked a fight with multinational companies who Japan relies on for income and even without them Manga and Anime are a huge source of income to the city of Tokyo and without it the economy will crumble. I just dont see how this bill will last in the long run
he will be condemned when the consequences of this law take effect he already has one foot in the grave and i doubt this law will even make it that far the japanese public may be spineless but we all know how batshit insane Otaku are you guys can follow artefact's fear mongering but fuck that Moe will survive our hobby will survive
and as for the idiots claiming that it was to love ru's fault and ecchi in general, show some class and defend your hobby
Unless they start making gurren lagann, death note, or geass level content from here on, I can't see myself watching very much anime at all, whenever this bill starts to effect the anime industry.
Even those that you mentioned will be affected as well because the bill is targeting violence, murder or whatever that is illegal not only ecchi and sexual themes.
Yea...basically ANYTHING that can be considered harmful to the development of youth. And it doesn't only affect anime and manga industry, but the game industry as well. Most probably even Mario games would not pass, as it features "violence", as well as they can claim it will influence kids into jumping off a bridge or something lol
So no anime, no manga, no game that feature sex, violence or crime (that's basically cover all the games lol) will pass the check...
So I guess Japan is trying to turn the kids into be bunch of robots that would do nothing but study, work when they graduate and pay tax, work some more, pay more tax...
Either it'll kind of be a forced way to create more series with imaginative new plots or it'll make them find more clever ways to sneak in their content.
Does Mikan's skirt keep getting shorter and shorter, even with a miniskirt that just odd to me I dunno. Plus her rear end looks like it god a plastic surgery 'lift' from season 1 to animation style in season 2. Noted I'm not complaining but wow, fun marketing ploy.
But with the bill in place this may be the last season of it too. Plus there wouldn't be much to go on after this I suppose, that is if the new manga, Darkness, doesn't get pulled off the shelves too...
-sigh-
"Expect this season to be the last anyone hears of To Love-Ru, whether in anime or manga form – the recent ban will in all probability annihilate it in one way or another."
I'm 100% against the ban, but on the plus side, Mayoi Neko Overrun can go back to monthly publication. Much better characters IMO.
It truly is sad. TLR(To-Love-Ru) Darkness manga came out and I was excited because it had a more serious plot and I could see things were moving somewhere. But with the new restriction in order it will either be canceled or end up being crappy like what happened to the first To-Love-Ru.
I doubt it. As crazy as this is, I'm seeing publishers work around it before long or simply slap a 18 sticker on it and it's good to go. Otherwise, I agree. I was THIRLLED to have it back... blah. -_-
I'm going to say something that will get downvoted for sure, but it's the obvious truth - that blatant over-the-top trash anime like this show is what caused the senile old fools in charge to come down like a ton of bricks.
Even 5 years ago, you'd never see shit like this on TV, because the writers could think of better plots than HURR DURR TITTIES every 5 minutes. I mean SHIT, even Love Hina has more story than this show. But the industry has done this to itself; while they were circling the bowl endlessly chasing the lowest common denominator with more tits and more moe, someone finally decided to flush.
Well, who need nipples anyway? I could survive as long as I have delicious waki.
Anime and manga industry got what they deserve of. Flashes too many skins, nipples, nudity, violences in media which easily accessible by anyone at any age is not a wise thing to do. It's like you're putting your hand inside a snake pit, wagging your finger tempting the snake inside to bite you. And guess what? They will definitely bite you. It's karma.
a) the senile old fools would come after it anyway. the stigma amongst the old fools against anime/manga otaku culture is a lot older than 5 years.
b) no, stuff like this existed 5 years ago too.
i love how you constantly get people talking on and on about the good ol' days when they weren't even getting the level of anime exposure in the good ol' days that they're getting now.
and have no idea of what kind of stuff was being put out there; other than the minimal content that made its way outside of Japan at the time, which as one would expect, were the safer titles.
it's like Japanese video games, hearing people rant and rave about how "in the old days" you never got the crap 2nd tier titles and everything was a Final Fantasy VII as far as the eye could see.
no, you only saw the Final Fantasies because that was the only thing they'd export.
similarly you only saw the safe stuff they were willing to test overseas.
there was plenty of mindless ecchi stuff 5 years ago.
you're just the victim of selection bias and don't even realize it.
My clear and blunt answer to you, my dear: Shut the hell up and watch the dammed show or just ignore it. No one is fucking forcing you to watch this. Leave the people who actually like stuff like these alone, and just move on.
Ahhh... finally the way anime is ment to be. Uncensored. However I dont think the productions in Asia will allow it to be uncensored. Will wait for the US to pick this up to avoid censorship fear... IF they ever will.

Or mention feminism and suddenly everyone is aboard the political correctness train.
Well until one country would provide better mediums then that's it for Japan. I'm hoping it our country.

I'm thinking perhaps the To-Love-Ru animators decided to rebel against Tokyo and draw whatever the fuck they want...
And I'm assuming the TV station that aired this has the same sentiment.
Maybe we'll be seeing a whole lot more uncensored stuff in the next few months!
There is nothing to censoring in first place!
The downfall of tokyo has begun as Comiket / Akibara / Otaku-dom move on!... or not, but I predict the fall of Anime for decades to come if this evil spreads like the cancer it truly is.
Akihabara in Kyoto hmm sounds fun or Nara
Wait this is a to love ru thread
Otaku will most likely to follow them because of the ban, as I doubt they will want to stay in a city that remove what they like in the first place. Ishihara and DPJ will go straight to hell, one way or another!
This episode sure is pure win!
Look on the bright side, sometimes the people DON'T even follow the laws. I personally think this is not going to stop. Look at us, we're downloading and that's definitely going against the law. Forget Ecchi - Start an epic story
with just one more episode to go, it better stay uncensored.
I think America should just bomb Japan a few more times.
Just for good measure.
Most of you might already know but since trianglecomplex hasn't posted anything about it yet as of the time I posted this the TOKYO BAN has been passed! Id totally be crying in real tears now if it weren't for the fact that there are other people in my house

Gotta' grope them all
Uncensored boobies fapfapfap.
Producers: Eh, what the hell. Lest just go out with a bang while we're still at it. >_>
Enjoy it while it lasts.
Come July 2011 the manga and anime for this will either be forced out of the shelves or forced to slap R-18 stickers.
or not, the law is too vague to stick around for long people just arent going to take it, this doesnt just affect us it affects games too, games like Metal Gear Solid Rising Final Fantasy Resident Evil Silent Hill Call of Duty or hell even most Nintendo games. the men who made this law up are senile and unaware of what they'v done they picked a fight with multinational companies who Japan relies on for income and even without them Manga and Anime are a huge source of income to the city of Tokyo and without it the economy will crumble. Oddly enough that anime creation arc in Ore no Imouto kinda hinted at this
Too much moe not enough substance
There said it in a less downvotey way anon 16:30
And LH rocked ^^ Except for kanoko oh Love Hina Again
Also its not like there aren't old precedents cough Green Green
a very sharp decline in ecchi, huh...?
Unless they start making gurren lagann, death note, or geass level content from here on, I can't see myself watching very much anime at all, whenever this bill starts to effect the anime industry.

The whole Sankaku Complex community is not in a good mood at the moment I presume..
The censorship people are giving up.
Lol @ "ZOMG TLR is over, all ecchi is over". But guess that brings more readers in.
The bill has now passed. Say goodbye to shows like this guys.
It truly is sad. TLR(To-Love-Ru) Darkness manga came out and I was excited because it had a more serious plot and I could see things were moving somewhere. But with the new restriction in order it will either be canceled or end up being crappy like what happened to the first To-Love-Ru.

Well guess what, they run out of ideas... duh!
Have you consider that there's an actual audience that's willing to watch this shit as you call it?
Ppl with money and just the intention of fap...
There're tons and tons of good anime coming out every season, your point being?
Girls Bravo
Ichigo 100%
Karin
Kore ga watashi no goshujin sama?
Koikoi 7
Just a few examples. Take off your pink eyeglasses and look at the past more objectively.
Well, who need nipples anyway? I could survive as long as I have delicious waki.

Oh, bringing out them verbal attacks now.
-yawn-

obviously, you haven't watched any of Go Nagai's works which started in the 70s... especially Honey Flash...
it happened before in history, it WILL happen again... and Uncle Go WILL have a say on it.
you guys haven't watched Cutey Honey from the 70s have you? or at least read Harenchi Gakuen..
My clear and blunt answer to you, my dear: Shut the hell up and watch the dammed show or just ignore it. No one is fucking forcing you to watch this. Leave the people who actually like stuff like these alone, and just move on.
.. now look what you made me do.. You made me hold up LOVE HINA as an example of 'good' anime.
But I guess Stalin was 'good' compared to Hitler too.
