    Ahhh... finally the way anime is ment to be. Uncensored. However I dont think the productions in Asia will allow it to be uncensored. Will wait for the US to pick this up to avoid censorship fear... IF they ever will.

    RIP ecchii. Japan will sux next year. RIP anime and manga actually.

    That law has not even been enacted yet, and it's losing a lot of support as we speak.

    Just you made it look like an abomination to human rights or whatever and make a big worldwide fuss about it then you will surely have the matter ended for good before it can do any harm. Everything said up to now by Ishihara and the DPJ is totally unfounded, and as they fight so hard to make a case out of nonsense, easy it will be for anyone with enough brain cells to counter it base solely on their unacuracy and prejudice.

    Anime and Manga are far from dead.
    Not until it ends with a complete parade of voluptuos naked girls with no censor up to the pubes in primetime our!

    It's not RIP anything just yet. Bill has ot finally pass for one and if it does, it if only for Tokyo at this point. I'm pretty sure they will pick up and move their base if it does become a passed bill. Japan has plenty of cities that I'm sure would welcome the publishing industy.

    while they may have other cities that would welcome them where are they going to sell their manga/anime? most the sales are in Tokyo plus they wouldnt be able to air it in Tokyo either so it's a moot point to move cities as it would still not solve anything

    And I'm assuming the TV station that aired this has the same sentiment.

    Otaku will most likely to follow them because of the ban, as I doubt they will want to stay in a city that remove what they like in the first place. It'll also mean that other cities will be able to grow now, if all the publisher decides to move out, but the downside is that it'll leave a lot of empty building in Tokyo.

    Look on the bright side, sometimes the people DON'T even follow the laws. I personally think this is not going to stop. Look at us, we're downloading and that's definitely going against the law. What happens to us? NOTHING. It just goes to show that this ban is kind of pointless if people are not ready to follow it.

    Most of you might already know but since trianglecomplex hasn't posted anything about it yet as of the time I posted this the TOKYO BAN has been passed! Id totally be crying in real tears now if it weren't for the fact that there are other people in my house

    BTW this show rocks although I seem to find it difficult to find facebook links to the uncensored eps give me a site I despise Megavideo right down to my very core!

    or not, the law is too vague to stick around for long people just arent going to take it, this doesnt just affect us it affects games too, games like Metal Gear Solid Rising Final Fantasy Resident Evil Silent Hill Call of Duty or hell even most Nintendo games. the men who made this law up are senile and unaware of what they'v done they picked a fight with multinational companies who Japan relies on for income and even without them Manga and Anime are a huge source of income to the city of Tokyo and without it the economy will crumble. I just dont see how this bill will last in the long run

    he will be condemned when the consequences of this law take effect he already has one foot in the grave and i doubt this law will even make it that far the japanese public may be spineless but we all know how batshit insane Otaku are you guys can follow artefact's fear mongering but fuck that Moe will survive our hobby will survive

    Yea...basically ANYTHING that can be considered harmful to the development of youth. And it doesn't only affect anime and manga industry, but the game industry as well. Most probably even Mario games would not pass, as it features "violence", as well as they can claim it will influence kids into jumping off a bridge or something lol

    So no anime, no manga, no game that feature sex, violence or crime (that's basically cover all the games lol) will pass the check...

    So I guess Japan is trying to turn the kids into be bunch of robots that would do nothing but study, work when they graduate and pay tax, work some more, pay more tax...

    Does Mikan's skirt keep getting shorter and shorter, even with a miniskirt that just odd to me I dunno. Plus her rear end looks like it god a plastic surgery 'lift' from season 1 to animation style in season 2. Noted I'm not complaining but wow, fun marketing ploy.
    But with the bill in place this may be the last season of it too. Plus there wouldn't be much to go on after this I suppose, that is if the new manga, Darkness, doesn't get pulled off the shelves too...

    It truly is sad. TLR(To-Love-Ru) Darkness manga came out and I was excited because it had a more serious plot and I could see things were moving somewhere. But with the new restriction in order it will either be canceled or end up being crappy like what happened to the first To-Love-Ru.

    and have no idea of what kind of stuff was being put out there; other than the minimal content that made its way outside of Japan at the time, which as one would expect, were the safer titles.

    it's like Japanese video games, hearing people rant and rave about how "in the old days" you never got the crap 2nd tier titles and everything was a Final Fantasy VII as far as the eye could see.
    no, you only saw the Final Fantasies because that was the only thing they'd export.

    similarly you only saw the safe stuff they were willing to test overseas.
