The 11th and penultimate episode of Ore no Imouto delivers generous service by way of both meganekko-moe and bashful meido moe.
Lest anyone have missed the widespread news concerning Ore no Imouto’s somewhat eccentric finale scheduling, it should be repeated that this is the second-to-last episode of the show that will air on TV.
The previous episode suggested little, and although a two-episode arc is essentially too short to set-up a proper series ending, even for a 1-cour show like this, many fans were likely to have watched this episode for clues as to what sort of finale the TV-ending “Good End” will turn out to be next week.
The eroge Kyosuke is playing at the start poses a silly question: “Take off megane / Don’t take off megane“.
The proper answer for any true otaku (as Kyosuke has increasingly becomed over the story) is a clear one:
Unfortunately, Kyosuke is still too amateurish in the ways of otakudom to remember to lock his door during break-time.
This week’s OP recycles much footage from the new scenes in last week’s, but does also have a fun fighting game parody stat screen, which gives a good reminder of some pertinent trivia on the cast.
Note that the age on this Kirino bio is different than the one seen before – the earlier one referred to her age in the latest novels (15), but she is just a youthful 14 years of age at this point in the story.
Aside from that, she hasn’t grown in any direction, upwards or sidewards, during the series’ run.
The episode contains much Manami, just managing to sneak in another big helping of her before the TV run finishes.
Kirino naturally doesn’t react well at the sight of her beloved brother with another girl.
Kirino of all people might be thought to understand Kyosuke’s decision to take such a moe meganekko home…
The little mini-supernovae are testament to Manami’s excellent potential as a housewife for a lucky future husband.
Of course, a protagonist bringing a girl into his bedroom is never a good idea – Kyosuke clearly hasn’t seen enough anime yet.

Hopefully poor Manami’s pure heart isn’t being scarred by all this.

The “Part B” of the episode is introduced by this handsome invitation card from Saori to Kyosuke, with little kaomoji standing in for her three friends (from top to bottom, Kuroneko, Kyosuke, and Kirino.)
The top line on the sign on the rented party room, “Kyosuke’s Exclusive Harem“, is a good sign of the treats to come, but does draw Kyosuke a weird look from the receptionist:
“Goshuujin-sama~”

Having heard about Kyosuke’s megane proclivities, Saori poses gloriously:

This week’s ED is another rather plain one, with some epilepsy-inducing rotating scenery running in the backround behind a nice image of the three fujoushi, as a fun seiyuu song アキハバラ☆だんす☆なう！！ / Akihabara☆Dance☆Now!! by three’s seiyuu plays.

“There’s no way my little sister’s life counselling can end like this!” is a good title for next episode, as Kyosuke is quite correct that it will not exactly “end” just then.
Why oh why was this not a romance comedy involving the meganekko next door, the tsundere goth girl and the delightful saori. seriously, this would be a lot better minus the self entitled mary sue bitch of a sister.
He ends up dating Ruri at the end of the seventh novel. The novels are better than the anime anyway.

I mean, my sister is 165 cm and 60 kg and she’s TALLER and has similar physical attributes (a bit more in the boobs maybe). Fake anorexia?
Kuroneko just became my number one girl, that crooked grin she gave right as she started her doujin adventure was full of win. Plus she was cute, as always. Must have.
It’s a shame Ken Akimatsu didn’t produce this show, because Ruri almost looks like Kaneko from Love Hina.

Every girl scored my affection in this episode; Kiririn with her Dere side, Saori… as usual, Manami being a submissive wife candidate, and Kuroneko with… everything she did in the whole episode.
