IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!
I really love the style of this anime, and of course, I love excessive tits-n-ass. Unfortunately, the TV release had me cursing with a frothing frenzy. ANY censorship is ridiculous, and even as a child, I considered it an insult to my intelligence. Like "Asobi ni Ikuyo," the censorship made it unwatchable.
I've downloaded the blu-ray fansub and attest that it is a slobbering, oppai extravaganza with a plethora of cameltoes that makes me all aflutter.
I know the economy is down, but trying to garner sales through censorship does NOT make me want to buy DVDs and blu-rays. Bad decision by the marketing people, since I often spend $1000 a year on anime.
TV stations are partly responsible for this, because most of them demand censored versions.
This allows BD and DVD releases to be done as yet more explicit.
I wonder how do you spend 1000 bucks to anime, if you don`t buy DVDs and BDs.
I spend only 200-300 USD yearly, all on BDs.
I understand about the open air broadcasts, but not broadcasts on premium channels.
Sorry for the confusion about the $1000. Basically, I was saying that using censorship as a form of marketing to sell BDs and DVDs does not win me over as a buyer. Even though I spend $1000 a year on anime (BDs/DVDs) and like Hyakka Ryoran, I'm unlikely to buy it as I feel I was scammed by the "marketing by censorship" process.
The TV broadcasts are only intended as previews. Be thankful they have them at all - the alternative is theatrical movies, which are gaining ground of late.

ahhh now for those people who did'nt relize cause i know this is sankaku... IQ below 50 :D this show is made by the same studio as queens blade (just not as well executed as queens blade) and if you don't notice the obvious Nyx look alike from episode 9 cause there all part of the same francise hobby japan battlebooks/artbooks thats why you see so much merchendise for both companies....
also i found the caligraphy cencorship rather articulate compared to just full blown uncencorship cause well lets just say queens blade was uncencored for tv thru and thru...:D
