Ghost in the Shell & One Piece Get 3D Movies

Ghost in the Shell is finding itself in dire need of a shorter title with the announcement of a 3D remake in the form of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society 3D, to be presented in stereoscopic 3D, whilst One Piece is actually getting a fully CG edition.
GITS SAC SSS 3D is described as in “complete 3D,” although it seems only the opening will actually be getting any new material.
The movie opens in Japan on the 26th of March 2011.
The marketing spiel rather tritely admonishes fans that “with the all-new never-before-seen opening the audience will feel like they’ve become cyborgs themselves!”
Aside from feeling Production IG needs to hire new copy writers, fans could probably be forgiven for just wanting a new series of Stand Alone Complex…
They can at least be satisfied it does not end up like the One Piece 3D movie (due March 19th), which looks rather desperate to show off the gimmick:

What? no.no..this isn't the vaporware 2008 announcement of a possible live action 3D version of GITS. Just a 3D skin on it:
"Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society movie will be *converted* into stereoscopic 3D" with those glasses and such....
So in 3D will GITS make more sense or be as confusing as ever?
Ain't a fan of 3D either, but I'm interested if they could really make Mokoto anymore badass than she is now ^^

I'm interested in the One Piece Movie, because I love it, but TORIKO IS HAVING AN ANIME ADAPTION? (Or did they already have one, and I've been under a rock?) either way, the One Piece movie would be great... with a plot that you can get through the trailer rather than just showingof the 3D breakthrough...
Well that's good news for a change, GitS in 3D should look awesome, though I'd prefer Innocence over SSS, but who'd allow us to choose.. Please don't fail.

I hope speilburger doesn't do the westenizing of GitS to the point that it become an americanized piece of schlock.
Although, from a different point of view, speilburger does have conections with ILM, and if they do most of the CGI you know they aren't going to do a half assed job of it....

The original Ghost in the Shell was my first anime(and I do like what they did with Ghost in the Shell 2.0. It looked really cool, speaking of remakes of Ghost in the Shell movies). But now it seems that Production IG is simply content to re-release old stuff with marginally prettier animation.

The One Piece Movie looks like they used all the cut-scenes from the wii game. I do not think it will be as good as previous movies.

Ghost in the Shell in 3D is workable and will most likely looked like Apple Seed's movie.

Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society was a disappointment of the first degree. I don't think I could watch anymore of Stand Alone after that travesty.
The 1st movie was good, the 2nd one was 3D CG shit and the 3rd one was just mediocre. And only the 1st one had a story the others were just like random clips put together.
I could tolerate to give GitS SAC SSS 3D a try but I will absolutely not give that OP shit a try as it looks too fake even for anime...in a bad way of course...

I prefer a simple anime, 3D might be appealing at first but the dynamic movement still limited unless they are same par with Appleseed which has the most detailed and smooth movement 3D anime I've liked.
