Hatsune Miku’s ongoing media blitzkrieg has racked up yet more conquests – this time Argentina, Brazil, Italy and Romania fell to the overpowering might of her charms.
Argentina saw much coverage – rag Clarin and news service Todo Noticias both covered her, with both insisting she is “un holograma 3D”:
Her offensive also saw her take neighbouring Brazil:
The BBC is also obediently helping spread her influence across the rest of Latin America by way of its Spanish language World Service – shamefully their wretched English language service seems yet to have followed suit:
Top Italian rag La Repubblica also rendered tribute unto Miku:
Finally, she seized more east European territory in the form of a Romanian news report.
It seems Miku may be on the verge of an international breakthrough…

So world domination is at hand.
I hope her blitzkrieg tactics will not get stuck in russia.
i just hope they dont cal her a hologram again
They will. At least one of the articles above also had the Gorillaz comparison in it. -_-
Please don't bring her down to comparing with monkeys, even if Gorillaz rocks hard T_T
Remember Darwin, we're all still primates after all. Miku is just more evolved than the Gorillaz.
@megidola: made me laugh....hard
"Devolved" is more like it.
Misinformed media, nothing new, live with it.
We know what she is and that's enough.
Es TN, las noticias tanto que idolatras
Btw, lindo holograma
You can't blame misinformed media, the other day I saw a documental about the "Building what?" and was perplexed at the fact that the news announced the fall minutes before even happening, I myself never knew about that 3rd tower.
They just talk without too much research on the info they get.
The fact they bother to make an actual article about her is what really matters here.
I hope so.
One country at a time.
Now if only would get actual performances and concerts in these countries, rather than just news of them.
i vote North Korea for the next domination... take that Justin Beiber
The world falls for Miku's greatness! ^_^
Increase the Voca-ganda, gentlemen!
World conquest is at hand!
*insert maniacal laughter*
Now all I'm worried about is how Japan is gonna create an actual walking, multilingual hologram of Miku to make that I've conquered the world speech.
Miku is no mere mortal- she is immune even to the coldest Russian winter, and the only supplies she needs are the adoration of fans.
Nothing can halt her advance!
Bow down before the almighty goddess Hatsune Miku!!
I'm surprised, the Brazilian one is actually pretty good, it has a lot of puns that are slightly funny.
Well, they do say she is a 3D creation, which is wrong in several levels, but I don't even expect people to go so in-depth in stuff like this.
ALL HAIL MIKU'S GREATNESS!!! *salutes*
Argentina, Brazil, Italy and Romania didn't stand a chance against that greatness. :)
Muwahahahaha Not even the legendary 501st joint Fighter Wing can stop Vocaneuroi invasion... well may be Sanya can sing along with Miku
Her songs leaves the fans HAPPIER and BETTER..!
Haters have escaped this winnowing for far too long..!
*deep growl*
@megidola
The right to be a recognized (virtual) Songstress...
That right...Is now Hatsune Miku's...
ALL HAIL NEGI-TANIAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what country are we missing now?
We must have complete total domination!
Let see if she can make The Netherlands fall.
Soon Mikubots will zerg rush all those who resist.
Wouldn't it be awesome if it turned out Justin Beiber was inspired by Hatsune Miku's voice. Not that she's all that great.
OH HELL YEAH!
FINALLY MIKU IS COMING TO BRAZIL!
THAT WAT I WAS WAITING FOR, NOW I JUST HOPE EVERYONE HERE LOVES HER LIKE I DO!
Miku has the advantage of invading Russia from the east border.
its a hatsune blitzkreig attack four countries/two continents AT ONCE! love is war?
Hell yeeah!!!
Argentina too, my country is a step near Miku domination!
I feel so proud now...
Yo~ I wouldn't feel that proud xD
Everything TN/Clarín touches turns into stuff for haters to hate. Don't you know well about our country's teenagers already? e__e
Like those notes about cosplayers, they mocked me in public for my Gumi cosplay -.-
Bendita TV, a mi lista negra.
Lol, I wasn't logged in -.-
Bendita TV is from channel 9, so has nothing to do.
Yeah, everybody hates clarín.
Try to not turn this political or something.
I dont give a damn for Clarin/TN, they so happen to be our media, just that.
As many other countries, our case is just the same with the media, they are assholes.
The matter at hand is that Miku can overtake the hate and actually made it to an article there, though it seems France is a tough obstacle to conquer.
PS: Unlike many I know, I root for what I like, and patriotism is just not one of those things.
There's an LA Times article on Miku. Just bringing it to attention.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2010/11/japanese-pop-star-takes-the-stage-as-a-3-d-hologram.html
So America just got conquered?
O HAIL NEGI-TANNIA!!! *NAZI SALUTE*
In Soviet Russia "holograms" project YOU!
Russian winter..
What about France ? She can't !
Well,if only they could actually speak of vocaloid instead of "hologram" (in other word,do their job properly..) maybe it would have a better impact...
And btw cause this need to be said once and for all since people can't stop bringing this shit on the table each time miku is in the news:
TANIA DOESN'T EQUAL FRANCE FFS,GET YOUR FACT STRAIGHT AND STOP BEING SO FUCKING PROUD OF THAT BITCH YOU MIKU HATER!
caps are fun.
message targeted at ...everyone that feel offended by it. :)
Dear Artefact
Concerning miku,if one hater is what it take to stain a country with shame,i don't think there's a proud country left in this world ...unless those that haven't been enlightened by her existence.
Comment on this site are already proving this.
But yes,i'm ashamed to be living in the same country as this heretic.
Your nation harbours a Miku-hater and will forever be stained by this shame.
I personally don't want Miku to come by my town. I get enough of that stuff from my friends and I sure as hell don't want it playing on my school P.A. Not that I hate Miku, I just think her voice is way too high-pitched.
Pft Artefact, there are Miku haters in EVERY country, and there is a huge group in Japan. You're all being pretty immature about the France thing.
Like 2sh making Sukone Tei
Cruise control for awesome means no steering.
EVEN WITH FUN CAPS, YOU HAVE TO STEER.
But well said. ^^
ALL HAIL NEGI-TANIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny she didn't get France usually they surrender or at leatst this is what i learned from ww1 and ww2 oh and then splitting out of Vietnam after the USA came to help
I'm French And I loled. Mainly because some French are assholes, and I happen to be one.
