TV talent and former seiyuu Aya Hirano explains that she doesn’t care that everyone hates her, as it has always been thus.
Recently, Hirano’s transition from seiyuu into generic B-rank celebrity has continued apace, as she is now a low-level actress – she has been cast as Kaori-chan in a special live action version of Sazae-san, due to air in January.
This announcement is however accompanied by more of her twittering:
I’m often told I take too much notice of my haters, but I think if they really do hate me I’ll just leave them alone. Ever since I was a middle schooler they’ve been bashing away at me on the net, and I’m used to being bullied now so I just expect this kind of environment and pay no attention.
In fact, I’m grateful to the people who do explain why they hate me.

I for one haven’t bashed her once. I’ve given constructive criticism but never bashed her. Though it is sad when a person get sused to this.

As sad as it is blatantly showing off your private life to everyone and constantly twittering about everything doesn’t help your standing, I’m sorry but the majority of the hate she’s garnered was her own fault, no one forced her to say who she had sex with or what condoms she liked or if she has a brain tumor, she could’ve just as easily said “It’s none of your damn business” and that would’ve been fine, hell that’s the Japanese policy in the first place, your private life is your private life and if you keep it a secret then no one has any business screwing with it, she CHOOSE to reveal all that stuff and she needs to accept the consequences and maybe stop in the future.
meh, she’ll have to do interracial porn before she’ll really climb Japan’s hate list.
