The art is pretty unique, and I guess the tentacle action adds more fun factor :), I would postpone this though.. waiting for Bluray/DVD version
I don't mind the censoring in this one... I mean... yeah it'd be better without it but at least it's not an epic beam of light that shoots out of the ground or a mysterious fog or the infamous [SCENE MISSING] where the whole screen is black. This is even in keeping with the Theme of the show... Themed censorship, now that's classy.

I REALLY Hate this Series! No every time I was reminded of it I got a little more PISSED Off!
WHY make an awesome "Ikki Tousen" ish "Queens Blade" style show and then RUIN IT with Ink Splotches as a gimmick? It's like making Vegetables that taste 'Sort of' like Candy. Or inventing a cooking spray that simulates the 'Taste' of grease so you can put it on Healthy Foods.
WHY Bother existing at all!- You're a Giant Fuckin' COCK Block! I couldn't even get into the 2nd episode. I HATE this series and want to kick all those involved in the Nuts!

I never watched Queen's Blade, so it's a good thing I skipped it?
On the other hand, I never did watch Strike Witches, I get the feeling I missed something good.

The show has Ika-Musume's ink, it was to be expected that they also include tentacles.
Eh, just a monster supplied by the Big Bad to a minion. Monster then eats minion and goes after the heroes with its tentacles.
As for why the jelly fish like being, because the Big Bad knew that they'd be in a beach environment, which would suit such a beasty just fine.
It's not going to be very effective in a heavily wooded area after all. Too much cover.

Will be a GREAT ANIME.. When the DVD release comes out and all the crap ink censoring is gone.. or in this case white paint.. this is just awful and I can not even get myself to watch it until the horrid method of censoring is gone.. give me a light, fog, or shadow censoring but this is just too stupid for me to even watch.. ink just appearing from nowhere.. dumb.
the ink works in other animation scenes (as when Jubei is transforming) so maybe they wanted to keep it consistent?
At the very least, this censoring method stands out from the rest so maybe that will help sales since people like you find it "too stupid" "to even watch"
