Square Enix watchers have discovered a correlation between Square Enix’s plummeting stock price (almost at a 10 year low) and the player population of Final Fantasy XIV, also plummeting.
Unfortunately for investors looking to make a killing, predicting player numbers is scarcely any easier than predicting a company’s stock price, save in that Final Fantasy XIV’s case the numbers only look set to decrease further.
im just waiting for Versus XIII, Kingdom Hearts III, Agito XIII, all of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Games, Parasite Eve 4 PS3, and Dissidia PS3. and maybe the Final Fantasy VII Remake
shame most of their IP’s are either lacking or broken.
Maybe it’s time to make a Sword of Mana sequel. This will clearly work.

Even with an Ichimoku chart, the cloud bottom still couldn’t be traced in the visible area.
IMO someone should just buy out the company and restructure from the top. Remove the person who’s wholly responsible for this fiasco and replace him with a more passionate and dedicated guy.
It’s will probably take some time for SE to recover but under new management and their old reputation, i’m sure they can produce a quality game in 3-4 years.
