    I have to disagree with that... the actual show is actually very nice.. they are what people called as unique and outstanding!

    I agree Cruzz-kun. P&S has been pretty fun so far. It won't test your intellect nor is it meant to be a classy act, but it's a very well done parody of stuff like Power Puff Girls and other action-heroine anime stuff of the past like Dirty Pair. Also, regardless of the grossout stuff in many of the episodes, the animation itself is top notch. It always dazzles the eyes just watching the show. Which is great. m-flo for the music is an aural treat.

    And man, these hentai pics kind of makes up for the overall lack of Power Puff hentai. lol

    i have said it before, the artstyle of that show can only be pulled off right if they animated it smoothly.

    the only reason i still watch it is because its funny, the animation itself is very low quality, im not talking about style here, i mean the quality of animation, this should have at least 2 times the frame rate for non action areas, and close to 4 times for action areas, they held back and its biting them in the ass.

    I think the art for the show itself is crap. If they kept the art style to the way other anime looked like and not something from a cheap cartoon network late night show it would be 1000 times better.

    Then again I guess a lot of people out there have big boners for shows like Dexter's Lab, etc. And other things of that nature as well. I suppose that's what happens, it's kind of a "DUH"

    If you haven't realised the point of this anime is SPITTING ON EVERYTHING JAPAN HAS PRODUCED FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS(AT A MINIMUM) then you are beyond help. It's not meant to be your mom's anime, it's a parody of the industry on the whole.

    I agree.. if the showed looked like this all the time I would watch it.. but the Powerpuff Girl look I can't get past.. that look is too retarded looking for my taste.. my best friends 12 year girl draws better than that. I think it's just a cop out to throw out a poor drawing manga and anime and what surprises me is people actually watch such a horribly drawn anime in the first place.

    Its called be stylized and the show is clearly somewhat of an homage to american cartoons.

    Yes, let's have this show drawn exactly like every single other anime so that it doesn't stand out.

    The art isn't bad, its just a style. I actually enjoy american cartoons so I like this series. Its like an american style but with that japanese flair.

    Forgive the creators for being original.

    Can't agree more. It's a breath of fresh air to have something that isn't a moe-saturated clone. It's not animation that nobody else can do, but it's entertaining! That's what really counts.

    What looks good or bad to you doesn't necessarily mean that it is accepted as fact. This show is heavily stylized, and the simple designs work towards the anime's favor. This what is called "design choice". Artists and creators, contrary to what you believe, have and should have the freedom to choose which mediums to use.

    Also, this site, believe it or not, is for 18+. 12 year olds have no business here.

    Same could be said the other way around. The fact that this anime is trying something that hasn't been done nearly enough, while using decent amount of budget to do so, is a good indication that the creators wanted to do something different. The style might not be "original", but the idea of doing a tribute to American show hasn't been done to this degree before, thus making this show at least a step above in terms of originality than most of the shows we see today. It has a clear vision... can you say that about majority of the anime coming out in the recent years?

    That's all my post was actually trying to say. The art style isn't original just because it's imitating american art styles and the anime isn't necessarily original because of this style, either.

    The whole reason why American shows look like crap is because they want to make the shows as cheaply as possible. the way these are made don't require as many drawings and they can use less talented artists. American show were made with better quality back in the 80's and 90's but then the companies got greedy and now we have the current shit and people just keep swallowing it. Anything made in Japan as a socalled "tribute" to American cartoons is more of a tribute to American greed rather then American cartoons unless it is a tribute to American cartoons from the 80's and early 90's.

    The style is mean't for the show, the show gives off most of the fun scenes and action BECAUSE Of the style it gives more Impact, if it was like "every other" anime other there it wouldn't even be recognized Panty and Stocking with Garterbalt is a love or hate series.
