That'd be because the photographer (deliberately or otherwise) used a really short lens - it exaggerates perspective.
It can be used to good effect, but can also make people look freaky. It's not so bad if you don't look too hard, but once you start staring you can't unsee it.

i thought u got used to it by now? 85% of shoots like these are shopped. and some are heavily shopped.
If you want pictures of cosplayers to not be photoshopped, you're getting the short end of the stick.
And you should. Professionally shopped pictures look much better than non-shopped ones.
It's not tat per say, but for some cosplay fans this just looks painfully obvious for us. The brightness in each pic is adjusted, and the face looks different compare with the 6th pic and 8th, her legs with the thighhighs are more slim to her swimsuit pics.
