Ore no Yome: Anata Dake no Hanayome, the Xbox 360 quasi-eroge featuring none other than Rie Kugimiya as a tsundere ojou-sama and art by noted shota illustrator Akira Kasukabe, appears to be pushing the boundaries of what a console game can get away with, in Japan at least.
The game’s major selling point, apart from its Kugyuu factor and sexy illustrations, is that the player can create a customised girl to woo and eventually bed, right down to the seiyuu:
The girls on offer are strictly a forgettable bunch of schoolgirls:
The final sex scene, whilst fully voiced, gives only a pathetic pink screen in place of the anticipated bedroom climax…
Whilst console gamers in the US and Europe are now enjoying erotic content on par with that found in movies and other media for decades, Japanese consoles are still relegated to “family friendly” toy status in spite of Japan’s noted lack of aversion to pornography – with such attitudes prevalent it is little wonder the Japanese videogame industry continues to fall behind.
The game itself is available now.
As seen from the screenshots, your house room decorations differ on your GF and it changes via relationship progression.
That’s awesome.
If only SONY stop treating their console game as babies and labeled them “family friendly” and start allowing more of this content inside PS3…
M$ are really trying hard to break into the Japanese market…. Good luck M$… it won’t work.
damn it why can’t the PS3 have this kind of games. guess shumps, visual novel, and eroge games are the only one’s that keeping the 360 alive in japan
Actually, there’s a lot of graphic novel and gravure movies on PS2 in Japan.
Alleluia for Kasukabe Akira has made me straight again..
Doesn’t look like his/her art style though.
