They would be nice shots if the photographer didn't fuck up and think that using the widest possible aperture (looks like f1.8) was the best idea. He only gave the poor girl about half an inch of proper DOF before the rest of her turned out fuzzy. Although the tip of her nose and the tips of her fingers were very sharp....
Photograher = Fail.
I was thinking that too, but I wasn't sure if there was maybe some photoshop involved as well.
Granted, a really fast aperture will give you fuck-all DoF, but this "feels" inconsistent to me in places, as though someone's come along and spammed the blur blush.
I'm thinking the fall-off shouldn't be that heavy, and there's something sus' going on near the high-contrast green edges, like her left shoulder and left hand in 08. Poor background-blurring, or nasty compression. :/
