honestly speaking this dispute between china and japan needs to be resolved and fast why haven't i seen any "american/western" interference yet!? oh but if it was another isreal vs. palistine dispute america is quick to intervene i mean damn why hasn't any u.s. officials said or done something yet!? i bet if some western nations began showing some love for japan they would in-turn be more tolerant of westerners/others living in their country but i digress....

As a Chinese with a fond love of (most, but not all) things Japanese, I'm as pissed off about China's recent behavior as the rest of you.

However, this place is becoming a hornet's nest of anti-Chinese rhetoric, and more depressing than seeing China act like bastards is to see so many of you people succumbing (momentarily, perhaps, like we all do) to your worst natures. I *expect* the Chinese government to act like pseudo imperialist, thuggish bastards, but in my own possibly misguided way, I expected better of you folks.

Most of the comments are no more anti-Chinese than they were months before the whole fishing trawler issue. They just became more targeted and focused on Chinese people because of what the Chinese mobs did:
the waitress uniform and mob riots compared with a similar Japanese demonstration.

You really wonder why no western countries, especially the US, hasn't interfered with the troubles in the east?

Well, we are all aware that there are some good people in China, but, really, we are trolls at heart and when something like this happens we have to jump on it. I'm more mad at the government and the idiots (as always) than anything else.

As for why America/The west does not step in...think about it. It's all politics and economics. China virtually owns us. If America were to go up against their financial supporter they would be ruined. (Unless we somehow stumble into WW3, that is.)

The pictures of the girls in uniform do not match the faces of the girls in school dress.

Look at the faces carefully. One thing that immediately caught my eyes were the narrow faces in the school girl ones and the wide ones in the 'military' ones. That's not to mention that the eyes also do not match up either.

China isn't all bad, sure. It's just the government that fucks everything up.

You need to remember that the government is still Chinese, and if you take down that government, another bunch of Chinese will take the job, and I don't expect them to do any better.

Most people would probably not know even if they are of their own race and wouldn't be able to pick them out if there were 1000 East Asian (minus india, and etc) ppl you had to sort through just by looking at their face and whatever else you have to look at.

And yeah, there aren't that many pretty girls no matter where you are (including Americas and Caucasians and whatnot), well you could make one seem prettier by seeing emphasis on the good parts, and of course there's plastic surgery and naturally pretty girls (go for the naturals if you want to have nice lookin kids, cough*)

This obviously doesn't include babies or women older than 35-40. Some people might be attracted to babies, but I don't think they care too much about looks. At 35-40, getting old starts messing with the statistics by making everyone uglier.

Of course, almost without exception the better-looking ones use make-up, some of them plastic-surgery. In actuality, the only reason 'gorgeous' doesn't apply to about 1% of the population is the faulty and lacking use of make-up and the rarity and 'minimality' of plastic-surgeries. That's also the reason why most average ones aren't classified as 'pretty'.

Really, when people talk about naturally beautiful women, they probably mean 'naturally pretty' according to the statistic above. I'd say they have to be extremely healthy, younger than 25 and yet as rare as the - artificial or not - really beautiful ones are now.
