The “Minna de Kimeru” anime ranking for the best series to air during summer 2010 yields a list with a number of unexpected (some would say strange) entries, though of course there are no prizes for guessing which anime grabbed the top spot.
The ranking, with the average scores each received:

Mitsudomoe was awesome. Short and cute and sickening levels of parody and misunderstandings. Came out of nowhere plus it was Bridge's first animation effort for a full series.

And yeah, Precure this season was damn awesome. Quite possibly the best Precure season ever. Awesome animation and very charming characters and back to the old Dragonball style fights. Great stuff.

The story is somewhat acceptable but their football is so lame that I dropped it in around the 13th episode.

I too am a little dissapointed that Seitokai yakuin wasn't up there..but HSotD and Occult Academy was..so I'm satisfied.
Surprised HSotD is so high. QUALITY aside, something's wrong if you have to do a recap at episode 4. I think they were trying to do one chapter an episode, which is plain ridiculous. It would have been much better if they changed the pacing.
this ranking looks pretty right to me. as far as viewership is concerned i bet this is almost spot on.

He didn't say they didn't follow the manga, he said 1 chapter per episode was a stretch. Compare that with Bleach, which is strung out, yet fits more than 1 chapter/episode.

Seitokai is... different. Well, that's probably why it isn't up there.
Not really considering if you pull up the line up you'll find at least half of them aren't moe or fanservice centered.

Surprised to see Giant Killing in such a high position, but it deserved. This anime is awesome...
But obviously this doesn't reflect the fushoji opinion, in the Newtype Romantica edition of October, they pick up K-ON!! at 1st (YES, K-ON!! it's success both with males and females), second by their bishounen loved animes like Kuroshitsuji II, Sengoku Basara Ni and Nurarihyon no Mago.
Oh, and I miss Seitokai Yakuindomo up there too, that is such a fun anime, but aparently japs. otakus doesn't like girls that aren't virgins (or lesbians).

now thats a lie Japanese otakus hate lesbians so much they have a need to include a penis in EVERYTHING for exsample even though k-on takes place in an ALL girls school and only 2 boys have ever been shown 90% of dojinshi of k-on have had gang rape or straight sex in it, same apply's to most 100% "we dont want guys in here" anime and manga series, Japanese otaku will find a way to get the penis in there

Maybe you fail to understand that yuri sex simply isn't as appealing to the artists as straight sex, due to it's inherent emptiness only fillable by a penis... although I do see why you're getting butthurt about this.
