I think Ika Musume looks quite wantable in that swimsuit.
Despite the tentacle hair, the sound her hair makes, and the black ink, she is tooo moe. I think that makes up for it.

The moe elements are there, but subtle. It doesn't take over the entire show while having enough presence for the moe fans.
I think this is how a show should be done. It caters to all audience; it's entertainment for the whole(almost) family.

The producers are finally regarding some conscience. I am loving how the anime is being roduced with all the concept and less to none fanservice. It's really nice to see some different things from times to times.
I hope even more productions could be done that way.

Yes. It's 'cute' rather than 'sexy', which is not common these days. By all means you get a lot of cute girls, but they're always paired with ecchi-style themes. So this anime is a squid-ink-breath of air! ^_^;

The thing that distinguishes this from K-On is really the tentacles. Those adorably awesome tentacles, and the perfectly blundered "Kill-All-Humans" goal of the main character.
