I stared reading One Piece years ago, and I've always liked how Nami looked originally, and I hate how they look now, and I've complained about that to a couple friends of mine that read One Piece as well. It's pretty stupid, she was much better proportioned or what have you at the start, and didn't have fucking balloon size tits with a size -10 waist.

They're an extreme take on those supposed conceptual ideals for a women figure, the thin waist shapely hip and big breasts taken to the max.

I would like to mention that she is a teenager and is still growing at 18 so her growth/breast spurt didn't happen til throughout the series.

They started off pretty normal. But then their waists kept mysteriously shrinking as time went on...

Listen i dont have a problem wiht OP proportions they still look hot but they shouldnt be on any list about perfect proportions.

Jesus christ how many people voiced concern? 4 people? Maybe 5? The series has evolved over mroe than a decade and has turned out nice and balanced. Awesome male AND Female characters, said female characters actually do something and are quite hawt

Either Nami's measurements have undergone some kind of change throughout the course of the manga, or Arte's numbers are wrong.

The local edition of the manga (volume 6) states that her measurement are B86-W57-H86.

I don't think I've ever read anywhere else when I visit anime sites that somebody complains about the girls body in One Piece. Seems SankakuComplex doesn't like it themselves more like.

I always thought of One Piece's women to be completely stylized, like fashion modeling illustrations and shoujo manga. I never even thought of comparing it to more realistic manga.

It's not like One Piece is the only shonen manga to have oddly skinny stretched-out characters. Look at Bleach.

Here in Brazil we respected the relevant posts on this site, but in this case was something completely unnecessary from a work admired.

One piece is fucking stylized. Stop and consider the men of the manga for a moment; they are unrealistic too! So is everything else about one piece; the entire art style is hyper stylized.

I can not believe that anime fans are condemning something for being unrealistic. Stop and look around the screen for a moment. Look at the other images that are gracing Sankaku complex. Look at Miku; what the hell is she supposed to be anyways, with her gargantuan eyes and impossible hair? The nature of anime is not one of hyper-realisim; the entire genre is made up of stylization.

Yeah... second to the last is Ivankof. That's a guy who ate the Hor-Hor fruit and can manipulate hormones.
