Upon checking out what it's about and all, I came to know that this series is supposed to parody the pop culture and stuffs. Problem is I haven't seen the movies in ep 1 & 2 so far so I don't really know what they parodied, aside from those that I read in some blogs about the movies and this.

Until the 2nd part of ep3. Having seen Pulp Fiction, I finally see how this goes: Panty & Stocking is about taking the noticeable parts of the stuff they're supposed to make parody of, and apply them in the series' own idea of a story & jokes. Notice how Pulp Addiction begins & ends in the same non-linear loop like Pulp Fiction does. With the conclusion that even if you're dead set trying to prevent something from happening by eliminating the source problem, the same thing could still happen through the consequences of other source of problems.

Basically put,
Samuel wanted to stop being a mob that threaten people with guns > somebody else still threaten other people with guns(it's hard to put in words, but that's pretty much it)

Sprems wanted to destroy tissues that kill them > Condoms still kill them

When they say parody, I was expecting more of something in line of The Simpsons or Family Guy(they did that once in the ep1 with the transformation sequence, but just that), but it isn't by most. And it doesn't do very well at it and the jokes aren't that funny.. I'd still stick to this series for the art style. See if the jokes/story gets any better. In one or two ep after this I hear they're parodying High School Musical. Let's see how laughable that'll be.
