In that sense, this ending is a bit unrealistic, because in the time-lapsed video they still move like they are real-time :P

Its plausible, keep in mind that time froze for a second this would happened in much faster than this.

As a scene, this is spectacular - however. A 'great ending' should tie all the knots from the beginning of the series till the end, leaving a feeling of 'this is how it should end'. It can be inspiring or 'empty', as long as it's a fitting ending for the overall series.

This ending is abrupt - fitting for a bad end in a VN - and instead of even 'zeroing' everything that has happened, it's just an artificial 'plot-crash' that freezes all possibilities of further development of whatever that has been built. It could be said that this ending makes most of the preceding episodes filler-like - not a desirable quality in a 'true ending', but works as a 'bad', should-be-avoided sort of ending often used in visual novels.

To be honest, an ending where Makoto kills someone would be much more refreshing.

Makoto is an asshole, but doesn't have enough balls for that, I just can't see that happen. What I could imagine is an angry father killing Makoto for knocking up his "innocent" daughter. Or Kotonoha killing him after she caught him with her loli sister. There are still endless possibilities for Makoto's demise if the creators want to be creative.
