To Aru Majutsu no Index II – Index Returns

To Aru Majutsu no Index II marks the return of the original series, delighting fans with another chance to become reacquainted with moe staples Index, Mikoto by way of JC Staff’s competent animation skills – a return which is proving well received indeed.
The previous entry in the Index storyline, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, was essentially a parallel side-story that does not necessarily correlate with much of what happens in the main To Aru Majutsu light novel storyline, but this first episode of Index II did not pick up directly after the first season’s finale, so it might be a bit unclear for those familiar with the books as to when the first major story arc will begin.

Hate to say it, but Saten would be hardly be in the Index story...if at all.
Considering Saten's popularity was mainly born from the Railgun anime, may be there will be another new female character in Index II anime will become equally popular?

Ill agree with this; even tho the picture and story was awesome...the stupid talking (:v) in this anime irritated me! However I still want to see how the story will go and hope for improvement in 2nd season

The end of Railgun is chronologically well before the halfway mark on the first Index season, so some time passed in the meantime.
But not enough to explain sudden growthspurts, I don't think.
