Huh? Wasn't this one announced quite a while ago? Well either way, I'm gonna see if I can scrape together enough money to get this one. The drum kit is REALLY nicely done.
There is no "Yamaha" on the drums. Those are not Ritsu's drums.
I guess the producers didn't want to risk using the brand name and getting sued for it. I'm pretty sure KyoAni or BandaiEntertainment got themselves the permission to use these the names "Yamaha" etc. Otherwise, they would probably have resorted to slightly changing the name as in other anime. You know, "Somy" or "Panosonic" or whatever.
I always wondered why companies don't like such good free advertising...

Simple answer really... she can't do it.
Actually for the simpler song like Cagayake Girls and Don't Say Lazy it's enough (which I think the rig in the figure is from the 1st season). But if you look closely at the OP from the 2nd season, you'll see that Ritsu got an extra drum and cymbal, which should be enough (at least for the songs that are appearing in the anime). Although in the OP of 2nd season she got 3 cymbals, in the story itself she only got 2 cymbals (but 4 drums).
she has a pretty basic kit so why she still doesn't have a floor tom is beyond me, but then again, if their paying that close attention to what specific drums and/or cymbals that are being used in the songs, I can let it slide...

In the 2nd season, Beside the stuff above (I'm not an expert on drums, but I believe those are 2 toms, 1 snare, 1 hat, 2 cymbal, 1 bass drum) Ritsu definitely add a floor tom. As for the OP of the 2nd Season, beside the added floor tom, she also add another cymbal (China cymbal with the bell down).

Nin, the other Ritsu drum set was for the Figma line of figurines. This is a whole another figure altogether, by a different company. Figma= Good Smile Company, Max Factory, these particular line of K-on figures= Alter

Oh, I like this figure a lot, and most of the time I always find something I really don't like about a figure. In this case, I suppose it would be that the legs seem strangely skinny here, like she's crippled or something.
