Ore no Imouto “Best Anime This Season!”

looks like generic moe shit to me.

I see that anime nowadays are mostly about self-gratification through extreme 'what-ifs' with sexual undertones that would never happen, instead of just making stories that makes sense, have good plot and without holes.

I used to do a lot of visual novels(non-pornographic kind) on PS2, but around 2005, I stopped buying new ones for this very reason.

Doesn't mean I don't watch porn, but I don't like dabbling on the fence. When I wanna watch regular animes, I want them to at least do their job well for their respective genre(comedy, horror, thriller, etc). If it's porn, I expect it to go all 9 yards with all the nudity and fucking.

And Ayana Taketatsu is 'debu－デブ-'. DO NOT WANT.

I think this anime play the psychologycal of average otaku where their sister despise them the most because of their hobby....
That's why many otaku realy likes it (maybe they dream about this situation in the anime)

I loved the show. A brocon girl in denial finally something new. For those with sisters complaining, get over it, this is just a show and quite funny at that.

i've been reading the LN for the past weeks on news of its anime adaptation, new favorite of the year.

That yellow haired girl reminds me of Microsoft's Silverlight tan o_o

Lol, great animation? This is your typical first episode budget boost along with the benefit of having all the main staff working on the episode.

By the second or third episode, when they start outsourcing the entire production, it'll be looking like crap, as most series of this kind do.

I don't know if it is just me but she looks like a younger version of Rei from High School of the Dead.

Yosuga no Sora is the best. It has everything from twincest to masturbating maids, to uncensored nipples and tits...an uncensored airing tv series...win!

You can't say it's the best for two reasons:
1) the show hasn't even ended yet so no one knows how it will play out.
2) The season isn't over yet either. I'm pretty sure more animes are supposed to come out.

Personally?

I am enjoying this! - though a singular episode - I feel that it's going to be a great animé all round!!

I like the artwork, character design, subtle detail within it, the actions, and yes, the plot.

~ (plus) the fact that she (the Character) has played "School Days", "Summer Days", and "Cross Days" made me notice more the details within the animé itself.

Just finished seeing the 1 ep... Kinda liked it, felt like the story was fresh and no so cliche.

Well, it's definately the longest named anime this season.

I read the very beginning of the manga, and I really liked it. Never got a chance to get back to it though.

When I heard it was getting an anime, I was interested, but I also thought that I'd rather see "Oniichan no Koto Zenzen Suki Jyanain dakara ne!!" turned into an anime. I nearly died laughing at chapters 7-8 of the first volume of that manga. (Honestly, if someone suddenly began describing my own masturbatory habits to me, I'd be ready to throw myself off a roof, too!)

Seems my wish has been granted, as there's a Oniichan no Koto anime in the works as well! I sure hope its as faithful as the Ore no Imouto anime seems to be!

Ore no Imouto has really restored my faith in moe anime. It's proof that the industry hasn't COMPLETELY forgotten how to make things that aren't painfully insipid fluff shows.

I remember reading that American characters are given blonde hair and blue eyes... apparently this is not always the case.

Well, not bad for a "slice of hentai" genre anime. Turn off your brain at the beginning and don't ever think about the point they want to get across.
Actually, it's probably best to see this one as a slap-in-the-face of moral-nazis.

I just hope there won't be any real romance between the siblings, it would ruin the shallow principle this anime is built on.
I did like the ditzy osananajimi of the protagonist. Hope to see more of her.
