Strike Witches 2 DVD & Blu-ray Heavily Upgraded

The first disc release of recently concluded pantsu anime Strike Witches 2 reveals some rather substantial enhancements.
The usual “how do they find these!?” commentary is probably redundant at this stage – with Strike Witches fans such feats can be taken for granted.

Doubtless even more interesting enhancements are in store for the episodes enshrouded by steam and blinding flashes of glare…

So heavily = minor enhancements that are hard to spot even when pointed out and stupid mistakes fixed? LOL
Now just take away the random streaks of light in the middle of the night, and I'll be a happy camper.
that's what they are going to do. they put those in the tv version so that you, the consumer, buy the dvd/bluray so that you can see the good stuff. ass and loli nipples anyone?

Some improvement. But, to label it a 'substantial enhancement', makes it sound like you work for the PR Dept. at the studio.
i don't know about you guys, but i think we lost detail to Yoshika's panties from the 1st episode.
They could redraw all panty shots similar to the really detailed one from Francesca. Maybe for a "Special Non Pantsu Edition".
It would sell like hot cakes even if they triple the price. ^_^

Overall they end at crotch level so it's not goddamn short.
So now they blushing more and the coloring is better. But i wouldn´t call that an heavy upgrade. Nothingness a job well done.

Wow! I didn't even notice any of the mistakes! Its good that the animators added more depth, detail, and coloring to the cels. Great upgrade indeed. The animation in general was much better than Gonzo's first season.

you do notice that the pantsu has been detailed yet we body detail because of that. check out the first set.

10.000 Points to the quality control check equip. They sure used some Samakoto's eye to see that details, the same for the fans who were able to notice the improvments.

I wonder though. Was it the animation staff that saw the "flaws" post-tv airing or did they do it on purpose (I thought it) or was it 2chan that pointed at the "flaws" and the animtaion staff improved it later on for the dvd/Blu-ray?
even with they helping pointing out where are the differences and what it is I still find it difficult to find the differences I start to wonder what if they didnt pointed out that...I would NEVER, by ANY MEANS find the changes....
