Sony’s PlayStation Move motion controller has enjoyed a successful enough launch, but that has not stopped some from ridiculing it for an apparent inability to function in brightly lit areas. Sony’s suggested solution: play in the dark.
Fortunately for Sony, not too much fuss has been made about the issue.
The technical explanation is likely that the unit’s camera is unable to track the motion of the controller’s ball (which glows for just this reason) under bright light due to contrast issues.
Whilst supplying a darkened room is probably no problem for most gamers, it is perhaps at odds with the casual-friendly image Sony is desperate to project.
i was actually surprised that it dosen’t work. i thought they just need the ball for detection, no biggies though.
I usually play in the dark anyways.
…except that it still functioned after ignoring the warning light. Drunken malcontent broskis playing sh*t-tier sports games shouldn’t be allowed to handle this kind of equipment. Give them back their Wii and they can finish their gay DDR barbecue with ease.

Not this s♥♥t again. I already replied to the idiots that made this video a while back, reminding them that the PS3 is a home console not an OUTDOOR CONSOLE!!! Who in their right minds play a home console outside? Oh wait, these guys already did. That makes them brainless retarded trolls that can’t even read instructions manuals right.
