You don't turn a game made primarily for men(or gay woman), into a game that is unisex by taking out the top most popular characters.

Heck you don't do it at all, you make a new game completely with new characters including the guys. Name it something else and create a completely new audience.

Them taking out Iori Minase as a play is completely unacceptable. They gotta know not to remove the Rie Kugimiya character, I mean seriously.
