yeah the bugs have to do with the physics engine and not so much the game itself needs more time in beta oh and most ps3 game have similar issues like this because most of them run off the havok engine
and also , how the fuck Sony use OpenGL ES "a low-level API for embedded graphics " isnt the playstation a "mosnter in graphics" i have a Ati Radeon Hd5570 GDDR5 1GB + AMD Phenom II X6 + 4 of DDR3 i think we can get already more powerful things than overdate consoles at the same price
A low level API allows for low level optimizations. You can easily squeeze out a lot of performance that way.
All video games you see are heavily optimized in order to run flawlessly. Even with today's powerful desktop hardware, performance is still an issue for the gaming industry.
