I can't help it, I'm a Linkin Park fan. So what if they are promoting Gundam? It has been known that the band likes Gundam and other giant mechs in anime. If you don't like it then don't buy it.

Sorry to jump on the Anti-Linkin Park bandwagon but I don't think an American band as annoyingly Emo as Linkin Park should be promoting Gundam.

They should stick to singing terribly and ruining the Transformers.

Fighting over whether or not linkin park is good is like arguing over who the cutest Hanson or Jonas brother is.

For a group of people who seemingly know how to use the internet quite well you'd think the lot of you would have a wider scope of comparison for discussing music. Also the fact that anyone with a negative opinion on LP had their posts flagged as drivel and hidden from view is a bit disheartening.

So instead of getting in the middle of this debate, I'll quietly stand on the sidelines like a creepy guy in his mid twenties in a discussion amongst high schoolers, thinking to himself "in my day I argued over mainstream radio rock too."

Makes sense. Linkin Park are fans of the Gundam series. Other than the vid "Somewhere I Belong" showing their love for Gundam, they also appeared in a commercial for the Gundam collectibles(the one you put together), back in the late 90s or early 2000s(not sure which decade it was).

They suck, makes me wonder what the hell Bandai is thinking. Then again just thinking for a minute, they have a lot in common. Gunpla is mass produced using the same mold over and over. So is Linkin Park, they are from the same crappy rock mold that gave us garbage like Nicklecrap.

Pretty much everyone agrees that LP isn't GOOD music, but everyone has a boner for them anyway. You just can't help it. It's a combination of nostalgia and lyrics so vague they apply to whatever situation you might currently be in. They aren't good but I can't help but love them...

Anyway, I always associated LP with Gundam ANYWAY... especially in "breaking the habit", seems like THE song for any angsty gundam series (and the sound effects in the song..! troops of marching gundams)

This song was already used by fagtivision for one of their medal of honor trailers... the rest of the cd is CRAP, even worst than this song.

I like Linkin Park...but I find this to be a very bad idea. So many great japanese bands out there...some of them should get a gundam instead.

I seem to recall Linkin Park using Gundam figurines in one of their music videos many years ago. As well as some subtle references to Salvador Dali, but I digress.

While I am unimpressed with the color scheme, I have to admit I love the idea. Linkin Park and Gundam are loves I got into around the same time.

I kinda prefer and miss Linkin Park's older style of music. Papercut, Faint and Breaking a habit were my favorites.

In the end is just music. Not a big fun of them but i do like a few songs so for me they can keep making music until they die. Maybe they will make a few more songs that i will like amongst many that i won't and that's beter than nothing.
People bashing them and shit are the clearly immature since they go along with the current since now they have the idea that is cool to bash them because some teenagers used there songs to make AMV's on youtube and by hating them they will seem somehow more mature. Of course they seem anything but mature but what can you say.
