The two reasons I still force myself to watch this.."show" are Saeko and Kouta Hirano.If they reduced the fanservice by about, let's say, 99 percent, it might be an enjoyable watch.
There are 26 chapters out and the anime is scheduled to have 13 episodes.
Why did they have to do a completley useless filler-like episode when they could have just followed the manga?
Actually, this is not filler. They just used reordered the manga chapters. The temple scene is after they leave Saya's house and before they reach the shopping mall.
Those two warrant a sidestory/OVA all their own. A prequel of their lives pre-zombie apocalypse. At least a omake. Jest saying

yea! its alright to have eroge episodes or short sceneries from time to time but not all the time! but i think thats what make HOTD, HOTD.... you know i mean, if they do encounter zombies that would take the whole length of the episode.. i think that's one thing to consider about "them" ending the anime... it's like on every zombie horror movies or rpg games, where at first you would have the light or "calm" before the storm... but hopefully they would end it on a 24 or 26episode anime... then HOTD II! yeah!... after 5 or 10yrs later...
