Well both of my parents work, and my dad works at night, so he sleeps at daytime mostly. I'm attending a university, and I have a sister, and I must say that both parents working can also be pretty good.

I think this leads to wife cheating more.

Now if only western women could have a similar mindset. I wouldn't mind at all if my wife becomes a housewife, as long as she's good at it (the house has to be in top form). Though I would suggest her to practice atleast some kind of work, 2-3 hours a day, cause you know, work is healthy, keeps your mind off stupid things.

If only I was born a woman! Oh the things I could get free with ye olde axe wound!

Whatever. In Japan, chances are high that you'll never get to see much of your wife anyway, whether she's off to work or staying at home. That's because of their oppressive, anti-private life kind of society they seem to cherish so much.
The results are high divorce and adultery rates. Not to mention the booming exploitation, prostitution and social dreck businesses.

Having any sort of "normal" family life is virtually impossible in any of the japanese mega cities. You'd have to live in the more rural areas for that, but that's not where the moneys at.

Well I can tell you any of the women with a head on their shoulders not just the ones that act out of instinct to have baby after baby after baby before they are 16 will not ever go back to accepting money from a guy just to live in a house without work.

LOL housewise is the reason why MMORPGs are so popular, especially in China! Housewives playing games is a normality there.

Actually the biggest problem with a stay at home wife isn't the missing paycheck, it's that she has more free time to SPEND money too. A houseworking wife needs an incredible amount of money discipline to keep from driving the whole operation bankrupt.

It's good to resist the "Two income trap" where two people working doubles the workforce, letting the swine cut wages with or without outsourcing and illegal labor. Also, two incomes increases expenses due to more fast food, two vehicles, etc. Last but far from least, it creates a "Home" that's just an address.

What should be the norm again is for women to marry and be housewives and men to demand that their wages be enough (to begin with! I'm talking Janitor, any "Minimum" profession) to support a family.

Simply put, a "Society" is made up of those people in it. What makes a society worth supporting? Sustenance, culture, mutual protection and security. Two people working and working but still feeling like a giant monster animal is chasing them is NOT sufficient reward.

And it's a natural thing:

Men - Get satisfaction when they do something to fill that "Hunter/Gatherer" need. Make $, kill an animal/enemy, fix something, harvest or gather... Then they need to have a "Home base" they can go to relax after exerting themselves.

Women - Get satisfaction maintaining the "Home Base", cooking, cleaning, socializing with other satisfied women. Seeing the man coming home, especially dragging/carrying something (other than other woman! hehe!) is exciting.

Not all roles are set in stone, but the main ones are the best and actually the "Deviant" ones even take satisfaction from the "Baseline".

Yet, for decades, man's enemies have tried to destroy us. They put women in the workforce, often in a position where they could control men or at least had more ability to hurt him, then they did everything possible to reduce wages to cause stress. They've done more damage than any "War of the Worlds" type alien invasion. Yes, I say that if man had to hide in tunnels from bloodsucking monsters in tripods they'd be happier than living paycheck to paycheck to potential homelessness despite all their "Education, work, degrees" etc.

So, yes, Woman place in home!

As if going to work can't make a wife cheat.
Working a lot she'll be away from her working husband a lot -> she'll get lonely and will look for interaction at her workplace.

I think women want to have freedom of choice and when they have it they just want to do what they want.

It's not about everyone doing it It's about having the freedom to choose to do it or not in the first place. From then on everyone can choose for themselves what they want to do.

The last thing you want is a bored housewife, because she'll start thinking about all these strage ideas.

Nearly half of the ones that wanted to be housewives did not want to work... lazy-ass women...

Proves that Japanese women are the biggest freeloaders and leeches out there...lol...

yes its the sad truth - I asian so I know what happens, women want nothing more than to be housewives which has become a synonym for lifelong couch potatoes, especially in my family where they get servants to do everything for them - they literally sit and to whatever they want all day while the men go and earn money- and with all this free time they do nothing but gossip - and watch shows like gossip girl and god .. it sickens me just talking about it

The hell with selfish and lazy feminists. You want equality? Then work the same as males. You don't want to work and still demand benefits? Then you don't want equality but supremacy.

Well following Japanese culture, sure they can! They just need to give up being the boss of the money at home.

See they cry foul and demand equality but once they get it, they don't want to put an equal amount of work to maintain such equality.

I don't see what is so wrong with being a housewife as long as she works around the house and cares for the children and the man can provide for the family comfortably. It worked for millions of families in the past.

I support women wanting to become housewives so long as they're supportive and at least attempt to earn their keep by taking care of the husband in a number of ways.
