So, this is the meaning of '' Jumping the Shark'' eh?
This is easily amongst the worst anime shovel fed to filthy otaku in the past several years. The over the topness of the series went from acceptably campy in episode 1 to atrociously awful and unwatchable in the last several episodes. Terrible terrible series.

HSotD is actually pretty good, thou I find the manga to be much better because while it's got huge tits too, it just appears as fanservice and not the same levels the anime does.

can somebody tell me that this show is not a Harem anime, only thing is it's better because the male lead is not a wimp, even the otaku guy is pretty cool, and
they do the kind of stuff you want to see in a manga, not some wimpy school life story.
Well.. Glasses girl does have a bit of a crush on him, but she tends to go Tsundere on the Otaku.
Spear girl is his ex-gf and yeah she still has feelings for him.
Saeko has also taken a liking to him, because she admires how he's keeping it all together and how he's acting etc etc.
The Nurse? She just gets frisky when drunk, otherwise, she doesn't seem to see him that way. Possibly bi-sexual and with her and the lady sniper cop being an item. Unknown at this point.
The loli? Naaah, he's just her Onii-chan, nothing more.
And he himself is rather ambivalent about all the attention he gets, and would seemingly prefer to avoid it, because hey living is kinda more important than who he's going to schtoink at night.
Although, he also still has feelings for his ex. But yeah, Saeko is a major.... Helllllooooo Nurse!!! So he's trying to keep them both at bay.
He's also completely oblivious to glasses girl having the hots for him, because he just sees her as the brainy childhood friend he grew up with.
So you tell me if you consider that harem or not.

not necessarily. some anime fans only watch series with actual plot and diverse, original characters. the other 20% i guess. and perhaps that percentage wishe to keep up on other aspects of japanese culture (although half of the articles shoe the worst of it), hence the reason for utilizing this site.
I could put up with the over the top fan service at first with this show, but it's so ridiculous now I just can't stomach it any more. If I wanted to watch hentai, (which I don't) then that's what I'd do. This could have been a nice zombie anime, but instead it's just porn with a flimsy story hanging off it.
It's really too bad.
The fanservice is so beyond ridiculous it's 20x more funny than arousing. I just wish the eps weren't so slow-paced.

And now the anime is beginning to diverge from the manga, which probably means that it's drawing in enough numbers for the series to stand on it's own, and turn into a huge steaming pile of horse shit.
Actually, the problem is that it's already too faithful to the manga. They decided that unreal breast jiggling will earn them more money than plot development with the manga, and they didn't change it in the anime. So both of them suck, not one or the other.
