Miyu's famous Velvet included. If you look for pics from the convention they did in these you can see that they all look 100% the same without any photoshopping. That's why I prefer American cosplay idols like Miyu and Pikmin Link to Japanese...they look perfect because they worked hard to look that way and have really good costumes.

Make-up is good, photoshopped is bad. Main reason is, taking good photos by the use of make-up and camera angles takes skill as you have to work within the boundries of physics.
Photoshop lets you defy physics. Well, any form of post processing is bad in my eyes.
The Photoshop is quite obvious. Besides that her eyes are bigger in some pictures, if you check pic 9, her left eye is just lookin weird. In most of the pictures, her eyes are of different size, and look like someone "moved" them a bit on her face :|
Because anime characters are based on Japanese/asian facial features.
I actually don't agree anonymous. Japanese anime/manga usually base their characters to look Caucasian. It's the insane fandom and devotion that lets those cosplayers beyond that boundary and make it work with physique and costume quality.
Not to mention those eye things that widen their eyes, the black eye liner that they use under their eyes, fake hair color, bleachin/coloring , lots of make up, photoshop etc. etc. etc.
