Just whether the device works or is actually a scam is not yet clear – all the purported evidence comes from a small group of pirates, nobody seems to have heard of the device prior to its sudden unveiling, and apparently scam sites pretending to sell the device have already sprung up.

Not saying that it is fake, but it seems fake. reading their website, they don’t even claim that they created the hack (which is probably one of the reasons there is no info on how it actually works), they claim that someone just sent them the usb dongle and it just works.
Convenient that all of 3 or 4 days later they are all ready to have orders shipped by the 27th. Also I figure the hacker fucking genius that did what nobody else could would wanna take credit (although he might be hiding from the evil wrath of sony).
It really is to good to be true, if this is true, I already see Sony shitting bricks. >:D
Wasn’t there a similar story some time ago about the Z Pack that pretty much promised the same thing but ended up being a scam
