What can I say but this film was complete crap! I'm not a fan of Tekken but this was a complete crime, the fool that signed this off to be released let alone to be produced should be shot!! Really if you've not watched this don't waste your time or money.

for me every fighting game that the americans make it into a movie sucks mortal kombat , Street fighter ( the movie where van dam is guile )and Tekken i hope the king of fighters movie dont suck as much as there movies

People can nitpick away and join in on the bandwagon, but Mortal Kombat for all it's flaws was actually pretty entertaining and coherent... which is much more than I can say about any other fighting game movie.

i haven't watch yet, so i definitely do not know the quality of the movie...but i would probably say this shit is much better than DBZ, The Legend of Chun Li, or even DOA for that matter

The most lol about this movie is seeing Cary-Hiroyuki Takagawa cosplays as Heihachi in the movie.

In the end, video game and cartoon/anime are difficult to pull off since we don't really possess the technology to make the Real-Life product match the original.

the action is to fast to be tekken it should be frustratinly slow when the characters move.

Oh yeah, this movie sucks so bad it gives Streetfighter: Lengend of Chun Li a run for its money. Setting is like some post apocalyptic shit that has a paper than connection, if that, to any of the games. The character portrayls are horrible in both their personality and fighting styles with the exception of maybe Eddie and Raven.

Have they finished making the live-action King of Fighters rapeage yet? That could wind up being the one shitty fighting game-based movie to outdo all other shitty fighting game-based movies to claim the crown of 'Worst Fighting Game-based Movie Ever'.

Movie adaptations in general are shitty. Be it from comics, games, folk-tales, real tales, TV, books, anime... Oh and remakes!

Yes maybe some of them are not that bad (imo) but most do tend to fuck up a lot the original history, characters, even changing so much the whole package you can't be really sure if the film was based on something on the end or it was an original movie with a borrowed existing title.

Note: Movies in hollywood from games and anime = insult.

Of course it's bad. What were they expecting? Enter The Dragon meets Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? Actually that would be pretty sweet. =D

I still liked the original Mortal Kombat movie. Despite the cheesiness it was a good fun kung-fu flick that made good use of the existing story and characters. Even the DoA film wasn't so bad since it turned things in to Charlie's Angels but still managed to meet the titty quota.

Given the names involved, this Tekken movie could have been similar. Seems there was a lot of outside interference.

I've got home and saw my dad watching Tekken (DL of course). I sat down and watch for 10 minute, before walking off thinking "No wonder the original creator is pissed"

Mortal Kombat was butchered, Resident Evil was shoot, DOOM was shoot,butchered, stabbed,raped,run over and tortured,Dead or alive was all that happened to doom plus mutilated, these movies ain't even above avenge, yes some of them were alright but for those who PLAYED the game, it felt like a kick to the nuts, just goes to show Hollywood well never make good game to movie adaption and lets not forget what they did to the last air bender and dragon ball z evolution.
