Mitsudo Moe Massacred by Censors

Even innocent loli nipple loving anime Mitsudo Moe has fallen foul of the censors, for reasons even more mysterious than usual.
The first bout of censorship involves the usual bathing scene massacre (not that the bathing scene actually shows anything) and a rather more unusual spot of artistic censorship – as usual only premium or anime-friendly Tokyo stations can count on getting the uncensored broadcast:
Technically Nipples are still present however.
Rather more ominously, one broadcast version has even censored the audio – a scene containing the line “このメス豚!” (“You filthy sow!”) has been bleeped (or dubbed over with oinking) out in the more heavily censored versions.
TV stations can usually be counted on to censor crude references to genitals, but this is probably the first time calling someone a female pig has been deemed obscene, and in the early hours of the morning no less.
With the phrase cropping up in other anime entirely unmolested, just why it was deemed unacceptable is a mystery – some speculate it was because it was uttered by an elementary schooler.
Whatever the cause, for once DVD marketing is probably not behind this creative interference.

Sometimes in the not so far future they might invent something to censor real live. Fog in public baths, black bars over tight shirts, beams of light on short skirts...
All to save the souls of the poor children, of course.

4th episode of Strike Witch 2 had mysterious sunlight on Barkhorn's panty even though all the girls run around with their panty showing.
It's the Japanese way of saying "Buy the fucking DVD/BD".

All the censoring and sh*t are just making everyone curious to see what's under the bloody steam/sunlight/bubbles/bats/fog/mist/shadow/some guy's arm/floating gif image/chibi smiling censor person/chicks/ducklings/unknown hovering specks of light...
That's why business & pleasure go hand in hand when it comes to anime merchandising...
It's been going on since 2000 and became more recognized as the years built up as a valuable marketing strategy~
It's money before morals, after all when it comes to entertainment and such...And I wouldn't have it any other way~

I didn't even notice this censorship really, almost figured it was part of the show..still found it humorous. But now that I know it was censored, it bugs me. :(
Yea same here, the weird thing is I hardly noticed the HSOTD censors as well. :/
I feel like such an air-head.
Though in a way it's a good thing, since subtle censors don't take away from the fun that way.
Still, the fact that they keep putting censors up unnecessarily is starting to get on my nerves.

This reminds me what happened back when The King of Fighters 2000 came out in the arcades. The Japanese version had Mai's bouncing breasts. The version I played made them static.

Actually, I chuckled at the nipples part, It felt so natural that I didn't even process it as a censor.
I was totally fine with that part. The uncensored drawing is actually less funny than the Nipples on nipples one.
I don't know why they're even bothering to try and censor a show about little children that featured what felt like a 20-minute long piss joke in the second episode. ;O

Mitsudomoe is one of the better shows this season IMO. Everyone should really check it out.

Actually I've heard elementary schoolers uttered stuff that was much worse than this.
My philosophy on censorship is:
If you don't want people to see it, don't draw it in the first place! All censorship does is tell the viewer that there IS something to see, but we believe you don't have the right to see it!
At the very least, the censorship should be left to the creator to deal with. You should NEVER let someone who has no understanding of the material loose on it to butcher it to pieces!!
