Funimation is releasing Happoubi Jin designed oppai fighting anime Master of Martial Hearts (Zettai Shougeki Platonic Heart), aptly described as being “Where T&A meet KO,” and is providing Sankaku Complex users the chance to win a free copy.
The English language DVD (with subs and dubs as usual, and a seiyuu commentary track) is set for release on the 10th of August – it is available for pre-order now.

i hate how many western desrtibuters of japanese products that are not hentai yet have sexy content still go ahead and make the product sound like absolute raunch and porn. "naughty", "dirty", "you're buying this for the boobs!". I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK! Seriously, making me feel like an ingrate for buying their product like that... hell no, if the box says stuff like that I'm NOT TOUCHING IT. No matter how good the ecchi is. Maybe other people feel like dirty immoral bad people for liking sexual content, but I just feel good and human, thank you. Dispite what people say, the ecchi isn't the only good thing in so-called ecchi-anime.
If only the anime was like that cover promised. *sigh*
But it isn't *cry*, it's a bad show, with crappy animations and even crappier pantyshots. Damn you, promising covers, damn you!!
One should compile a collection with covers that are better than the actual movie. You get cool covers to look at and remember from which shows to stay the fuck away.

Yes Platonic Heart was a really, really bad anime. But that was its charm. Every episode was a gift of terribad for those who can appreciate its hilariousness.
Rarely can you see animes that transcend the limits of awful so much that it ends up being awesome. I'd have participated in the contest were it not US only D:

If you're drunk or high, than this anime can be pretty enjoyable, especially as a group.

That is actually possibly THE worst anime I have ever seen. Good seiyuus and an interesting ending, but otherwise very bad.
I see Funimation is following that hilariously stupid approach of failing to translate or retain the title and replacing it with some fuck-up, 70's porn-esque pun of some sort. I wonder if the sub track or alternative dub contains more wondrous failures at translation. At least mistakes like these are corrected in time by fansubbers. Nothing of value is lost this time however as this show isn't good.
Seriously. I don't mind the change this time, but makes you wonder what they're trying to accomplish.
The fansubs for this weren't particularly high quality either, at least not the ZFSD version I watched. Downscaled to 704x400, poor styling, frequent spelling/grammar errors, etc. At least the TL was comprehensible and on-target most of the time.
This anime is TERRIBLE. Of all the ones for Funimation to do, WHY THIS?
The art is lame, the characters are bad, the story is one of the stupidest ever in an anime, the action isn't great, and the fanservice isn't even any good.
But, some parts of it were "so bad it's good", I have to admit.

Seriously, only thing that was good about this anime was the cover art. Everything else sucked big time. The animation sucked as hell. QUALITY everywhere.

The only other anime I can think of that's like this is Ikki Tousen. I hope this show is awesome because of high quality everything and not just fan service.

I love stuff like ikki tousen and queens blade, and this is along those lines, but the quality just seems so damn bad... It has it's moments, but over all it's just not worth paying for if you ask me. Yes anime lovers, fans of QB and Ikkitousen DO have standards! This show's story, characters, and animation just pales in comparison to other anime with ecchi content. It's also extremely short (i think 6 episodes?).
Spoiler: Everyone dies. Aya's friends are evil. This show sucks.
Funimation probably got this in a package deal. As in "we won't give you show A unless you take show B as well".
Truthfully, this is a pretty shitty anime; it's not even worth it as a free gift.

If you don't like the dub you can just switch the language. It's what I do for most of the Anime DVDs I own.

Only if he's an idiot. Funimation freaking owns the US anime industry (in a good way). They cater to both dub and sub fans, and actually release a good amount of stuff on BluRay. Without them, there would practically be no anime in this country.
Of course I'm aware of that. But not all of them are. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Eva 1.11, Dragon Ball Z Kai, FMA the Movie. As well as the upcoming Summer Wars and Eva 2.22.
Not only that, but their latest upscales (Ouran Host Club and Rin) are phenomenal looking. Way better than their DVD counterparts.
Why I hate Funimation....well, if anybody visited the competition page you'll be greeted with:

Simply put, if you are out of the promised land, you might as well go watch paint dry(in slow motion, and with 8 reruns)

Funimation buy rights to sell in USA but then go after any English fansubbing group. This way it's harder to get anime in any other country. I.e. they behave like typical american faggots who think only USA exists on the globe.
