@ Comment by Azure Xuchilbara 22:54 03/08/2010: I rofl'd at the sarcastic comment. Yes, it is Portuguese (Brazilian). I have no clue if they use that in Portugal, there are pretty different words for the same situation/object in some cases. Personally I can't understand what Portuguese ppl say because of their spelling (not criticizing, each with his own).
Portuguese? Can someone please confirm this? I need proof of this, so I can finally shut my friend up on the matter! He's convinced the Jungle Pirates speak Japanese!
Perhaps some designer was tapping his pencil on his desktop, trying to think of ideas, then looked out his window, saw the building, and thought, "That thing looks cool.... HEEEYYYYY... I know what I'll do...!"
That remains me of an Building in my Hometown (Hagen Germany).
We had an Building named "Langer Oskar" wich looks exactly like an PS2.

Ultraman forgot to bring his PS3 home..
This...
Why isn't this up top?
Ps3 for our Giant friends? In this case for G*nd*ms :3
For a while, I thought that the PS3 was designed after the Forman's Grill, but now it makes sense. :3
Does the Building have BLU Ray?? - I hate to think what the Xbox 360 Building is made of...
So... when will we see 360 version ? :)
pretty much, most build looks like xbox 360 (plain and boring)
Here's PS2 version from Finland.

wow... i think it can store all games in all consoles..
wow that's simmonsing at a whole new level! XD
now that ps3 is the prick which xbox fans are talking 'bout.
Now i get it!
Original PS3 is still bigger
Hopefully it doesn't overheat...
now we need a big monitor and some controllers to have a gaming party.
"Everything", indeed. This is awesome!
i always thought the PS3 looked like a building model
Maybe Sony will get sued for canning Linux AND pirating architechture.
Doubt it, but it'd be ironic.
pretty sure the 360 is still the fattest. that power brick is ridiculous.
Awaiting PS3 sattelites...
I'm surprised Sony isn't being accused of Simmonsing.
Sweet, good for them supporting PS3!
awesome :D hopefully a gamecube and wii will be next :D
i guess the materials are as cheap as the ps3 self.
anyway sweet building though..
THE PS3 IS HUEG
I had to say it
There's another PS3 on the right, its horizontal.
wait a minute. i think that complex just below has been posted before. or at least i've seen it somewhere
it certainly does everything indeed, even transforms to a huge building :O
So where do you put the bluray?
Sony!~
HOLY SHIT!!! I wonder how many Gigs that PS3 has!?
Don't know about GB's, but it sure has processing power, it can run several business offices at the same time!
...yeah, I think I'll just leave now...
That playstation is a true multi-user system.
Gigs? More like Pentabytes. ^_^
lmfao thats srsly epic
Now THIS is Epic Win
Was expecting a giant black monolithic PS3 ala 2001 A Space Oyssey.
Same! ..only in my head, it's floating in outer space as I find the Earth to be an unsuitable society for its presence.
Where was this taken?
Vagabundo 1: Now that's biiiiig!
Vagabundo 2: Yes...VERY BIG!!!
And yes, I too am also curious where this was taken...
It's the prototype of the PS4. According to Sony researchers the actual console will be a lot smaller, though. ^_^
Imagine plugging that into your home outlet lol...I wonder how much storage space is in there?
Man can you imagine the graphics on HD TV using that thing?
Vagabundo!? Don't you mean hobo? Are you Brazilian by any chance?
And it's also the Portuguese word for "hobo", so no biggy here.
@Anonymous 22:47 03/08/2010
Funny...The Vagabundos do act like d*cks in Episode 5 of Lost Planet 2...
Ridiculously violent, gung-ho, trigger-happy, Overland Battleship stealing, Category G destroying, NEVEC-hating d*cks to be exact...
@Anonymous 22:17 03/08/2010
Strangely coincidental that it means hobo in Portuguese, since the Jungle Pirates in Episode 1 speak Portuguese...
And both Vagabundos and Jungle Pirates both belong to the "Fight Junkies" Snow-Pirate Faction...
"Vagabundo" in Antarctican means "dick".
Vagabundo also means Vagabond in Spanish... oh, such an unexpected surprise.

@raijinz
This should shut your friend up...
http://lostplanet.wikia.com/wiki/Lost_Planet_2_Characters
Look up the Jungle Pirates under Fight Junkies...They speak 100% Portuguese...
I'm referencing what the "Vagabundos" from Lost Planet 2 say in the beginning of Episode 5, Chapter 1 when they spot something BIG on the monitor...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTyNtrPjIi4
And no, I'm Irish actually...
I believe that quote is from the game Lost Planet 2. If you Youtube Vagabundo, you'll get the joke.
That's actually Osaka Namba Parks.
Damn, beat me to it.

I call this a blatant case of Simmonsing on Sony's part... Oh, wait... Wrong article. Nevermind. =P
This on looks a bit like PS2 too: http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/7334/nestetower.jpg
PS2 dev kit looks exactly like that lol.
I think this is more like Sharp X68000.
So....Sony used this design for PS3?
