Anybody living in the US that speaks Spanish, people automatically think you are from Mexico. It doesn't matter where you are from. The only thing that is different from Spain is the accent.It would be cool to mix Hispanics and Japanese.
In American they speak spanish. In Spain they speak Castilian. It's similar but there are lots of differences, appart from the accent.
Latin American culture and Spanish (Europe) culture are totally different too. For example, in America have an acentuated religion culture.
