To Love-Ru Manga Restarts

After being canned with “that” kind of ending, To Love-Ru is to be revived as a “spin-off” manga featuring the same characters.
The new title is to begin serialisation in the October issue of Jump Square.
Coming on the heels of a new To Love-Ru anime, it seems the decision to terminate the original manga may have been a rash one.
What will become of Mayoi Neko Overrun, by the same author and currently being serialised, is not clear, but many are speculating that it will conclude soon.

You could tell the illustrator missed drawing To-Love-Ru as well when he constantly add the characters in Mayoi Neko Overrun.

I gotta agree, I think maybe the illustrator and the author is missing drawing/writing for To-Love-Ru. Maybe they even feel regret to that half ass'd ending that we got. Then again is may have been the publishers idea to can TLR in the first place.

I wouldnt be surprised if the two were put together, There were alot of random appearances of love-ru characters that were in the mayoi neko overrun manga, but i wouldnt really know how they would make a plot out of that.

It was first cancelled after the falling jump polls but was brought back simply because there is enough demand by the fans (the ruckus after it ended) and plus the fact that the anime is happening = makes it all worthwhile for the publisher again. Just tells you the publisher made a bad decision and pulled it way too fast in the beginning. It was still a commercially viable product and vehicle. They are just going to milk it to its death. Win for both author and publisher.
Awesome news. To Love Ru was one of those fanservice manga and anime that actually made me laugh (shock of shocks) and had a good art style, and I liked the characters. Glad to see the artist seems to be doing better personally as well, to be able to resume it.
