Popular Nitroplus/huke visual novel Steins;Gate, originally released on the Xbox 360 and with a PC version on the way, is due to receive an anime adaptation.
The terse announcement comes by way of the official 5pb Twitter account – further details can be expected later.
An indirect sequel to Chaos;Head, the plot of Steins;Gate follows the struggle of a group of Akihabara otaku who inadvertently stumble upon dark experiments in time travel, with the original visual novel featuring an innovative interactive storyline advanced through mobile phone messaging.
The original visual novel is also noted for its distinctive character designs, created by none other than huke, the artist responsible for Black Rock Shooter and others.

Steins;Gate is much more better than Chaos;Head (almost makes Chaos look like trash on the side of the road.)
This, and Black Rock Shooter were the 2 main things I was looking forward to getting an adaption, and am VERY happy for it doing so.

Oh god, that anime was extremely boring. They spent every episode explaining the plot and not doing anything.

The game was good alright, but the anime was REALLY jumbled - which many only know from.
If there was a trans patch then i'd prob know better. Love that show for the quotes i get from it.

Chaos;Head was OK. Parts of it were awesome. The ending was a bit weak, though, and parts of it fall apart if you think about it too hard.
Maybe this will be a little better thought out.
