actually, it's been way too long. the first love plus game came out a long time ago and we still don't have a translation patch. the second game came out this year and the arcade one coming out later this/next year.

Yeah alot of the laws are xenophobic towards us, and its hard to live there unless you can do specific things. But since nobody is willing to fight it and change it the grip of xenophobia (whether or not its represented by the majority) will still crush the country in time. There are alot of non-xenophobs like I previously stated, however i've met alot of racist xenophobs in my travels to Japan. So you can't invalidate that there aren't any xenophobs outside the government and laws because there are alot there.
I wish they would get over their xenophobia, but its as likely as everyone else to stop being discriminant.
It would be very hard to have an official translation, much more a fan-made one, mainly because it's not just translating a few lines of text - the game has a complex AI (in fact, probably not) and a voice synthesis engine.

All the akiba arcades I went to had staff who regularly cleaned the machines, and some had handwipes at many of the machines anyway.
