Are the Anime Network releases censored too?
"fans are already starting to wonder whether the series will stretch into several seasons."
I asked this question during the Geneon panel at Anime Expo. I wanted to know if they are considering more seasons or if they'll do an original Anime ending to this ongoing Manga. The response was essentially "we'll do more seasons if the viewership is high enough" so yeah, it seems if the series is doing well enough we'll get a season 2 and beyond(and hopefully more if the authors get back to work!).
I wonder if they'll try to handle it like Black Lagoon...hopefully more like that rather than say, Tenjou Tenge.

Going by the pace the anime is on, i expect at least 3 seasons and some OVAs. Either that or it'll end with a lackluster cliffhanger ending.

They're going through almost a chapter an episode with this insanely fast pacing. Unless they end the series at like 12 episodes, it's doomed to turn out VERY badly in that department...

The only thing 10x more dangerous than a zombie is a rapist...Especially the cannibalistic, guro kind who bites off a girl's nipples as he f*cks them...
That guy isn't a cannibal. He just lost his mind after his family turned, and he had to kill them. That bit of background, the "best friends forever" scene and why the little girl had to be rescued, are the reasons why i stopped reading it. Too much brutality. And it's a pity, because it's a good manga.

In a doomsday-scenario type series like this, you honestly expect there to not be at least some level of brutality? Everyone's fighting for their life, trying to save loved ones (and above all else, themselves) and you expect there to be "acceptable amounts of brutality" only? Please.
If anything, I would applaude this show for actually being a bit closer to realism than most others. Especially when compared to all the other zombie-related stuff out there. You'd expect this series to just be a dud that wouldn't attract much attention. It'd just be another face in the crowd. But, that's not actually the case.
This series is win. Hands down. No matter how you look at it.

I love zombies and I'm probably one of the few who see the jiggle as a bonus, this series is awesome so far.

Long ago, they did that to hokuto no ken, in France (plus some other infamous dubbing outrages). The results were appaling/hilarious : some episodes were cut to... about 5 minutes of chaotic montage... all that because the kids morning show picked anime based on popularity not age of intended audience, and "adapted" it...
