i didnt like the first episode - watch it more, i liked it, but the general consensus is that it was crap, and the show picks up a within the first 4 eps.
i did give it a chance i watched the whole show and it was crap a total waste of my time in my opinion. i just dont see how someone can call it great just because the charaters are cute. who r u to judge me because i dont like a show that u like. to me you rank as a worthless no life. i dont judge anime/animation on looks i actually watch it before even giving my honest to god opinion on it. i never called anyone childish because they like something i dont everyone has there own opinion and are able to voice that opinion. bashing my character because u dont like my opinion is what makes you the childish one here sir! have a great day

Wow... To be taken seriously, at least type legibly.
Besides, I don't care for the characters' cuteness, what attracted me to the show was their amazing personalities, brilliant humor and witty observations on daily life.
got my point across just fine using letters in place of words.
back to the itasha on topic, i would just take the decals and live the car be a new companion cube.
no tears are shed for cars, go buy another one but the decals are worthy.

Just chill out. It depends on the person who watch the anime. For me it is the anime that will make you laugh hard if you know a lot about anime, otaku and japan stuff. People who thought this is crap do not understand the jokes or just hate the anime for no reason.

If everyone is entitled to there own opinion than you wouldn't call someone names for saying they like this anime. You not liking the anime doesn't bother me. You calling someone names does.
I did this awhile back on another website to explain Lucky Star's popularity to someone. I am a huge fan of the show, and I was more then happy to explain the show's popularity.
1. Lucky Star works under serious "moe", and its cast of cute girls attract both male and female genders. The moe alone can attract people to the anime, but if that were all, Lucky Star wouldn't be as near as popular as it is.
2. The series starts off with the girls in a classroom like setting that most people can relate to, since most of them have been to highschool themselves. The first few episodes consists of them talking about pointless things like food, dentists, etc. However this creates a certain atmosphere in the series. These conversations are not so different from the conversations many people have with their friends on their own free time. So after a few episodes of experiencing this "point of view of a silent friend sitting with them setting", it creates a stronger feeling of friendship toward the characters. This makes you feel a stronger relationship with the character's then you normally would.
3. In continuation with point 2, the bond of friendship is reinforced by Konata (with the Otaku crowd). She is the spirit of an otaku amongst "normal" friends. Everything she hears goes through a filter in her head. This makes it so that a simple conversation will be related naturally to something anime in her mind, and often causes her to make comments based off of her thought process. This usually works well in gags, but makes the anime fan feel a sense of "I totally do that too!" on occasion.
With this said, both male and female anime fans feel a stronger connection to the characters in this anime/manga series, because it works brilliantly in creating this psychological feel of friendship between the characters and the watchers/readers. A feeling of being able to relate to Konata's otaku minded filter would make anime fan's love the series many times more.
The point of Lucky Star isn't to tell an awesome story of a hero slaying dragons, and it isn't even trying to make an adorable story either. It works from the beginning to create a relationship between the viewers and the fictional characters, and that is why I rate Lucky Star as my #1 anime. When I watched it I felt this was the goal of the series, and looking at the popularity, I believe it performed it perfectly. This combination of cuteness, the creation of friendship, and the feeling of relation is why I easily see many otaku's falling in love with these characters, (as anyone would love his or her friend). Many Slice of Life anime and games have tried this method as well, but I am personally partial to Lucky Star's method.
4. Lucky Channel is the funniest thing ever.

I never understood moe, and didn't when I first seen Lucky Star back when it first aired. But I loved it. Seriously, what the fuck is with this moe marketing? Why people are drawn into it, I don't think I can ever understand.
If I see something that is 'moe', I usually just say it's well-drawn or somewhat cute.

Would you? Reality check: cars break. I've talked to a garage owner once, and as long as it still drives and is in remotely reasonable condition, cars get sold as occasions. If not, but parts are still usable, e.g. because it's a recent model, it gets completely dismantled.
Chances are this is a pile of rust with a (rather nice, I admit) paint job. But yeah, I would have taken out the door as a memento to what once must have been a great car.
