I'm telling you, K-on! Band Hero would sell so much.
Haha from a business look at your statement, I highly doubt it. The people who want to play a K-ON game will buy it even if it is sub par. So companies don't see it at all economical to put a lot of effort into these games. People who are not K-ON fans would most likely not buy a K-ON! Band Hero game. Sure their will be more people buying a full on K-ON! Band Hero game, but not enough to turn profit, with the effort/money it takes to create a game of that level.
I think it would be worth making. First off it wouldn't require as much to make as say a new Rock Band/Guitar Hero. (and that includes cost, time, effort, ect...)On top of that there are people who would buy it, but wouldn't buy this. My sister hates K-ON! but she loves Guitar Hero and even said herself she would buy a K-ON! Rock Band if one were ever made. There are tons of people who are fans of Japanese/anime music and would love to play a Rock Band with Japanese tracks. Even people who don't hate K-ON! to the point that they go to message boards about K-ON! and talk shit about it, but kinda like it or don't have a problem with it might be like "Oh, I don't have a problem with K-ON!, the music is kinda good, let me try it. Even thou a US publisher would never touch it, since it's just a music game it would be import friendly.
You underestimate the prejudice toward anime by some Japanese and Americans. The reason a game like that wont be made is because it wouldn't make very much money. If it would make a lot of money the industry would be all for it. They understand lower quality games like this will turn a higher profit for them then high quality games. (thats why they keep making these types of games over high quality ones). It is basic capitalism. Many people including Japanese wouldn't even touch the game with K-ON on the cover. Thumbs down my posts all you want, but it is sadly the truth. I would love a K-ON rock band game, but I will not get to see it. Best we can look forward to are some good anime characters in fight games. Sadly the anime industry is having hard times in the U.S. at leasts, it's not 100% in Japan either these days.
Hell. I'd play it
or a Rock Band 3 Mod since the Piano will be included (as a Keytar)
That video is very distracting, especially when Azunyan pops into view. Hitting the notes is kinda impossible here...
Keytar is epic
T would be a shame to see a Band Hero game with only 6 songs, don't you think?
K-ON! has about 40-ish songs, they just like to play 3 or 4 in the anime ad infinitum. It's beside the point that a great deal of them are shitty.
Only 6 songs? That's pretty bad imo, but I've got to admit, I'm not too surprised. They know it'll sell anyway.
I seriously doubt it, K-ON is fucking stupid
Okay, speaking of K-OM music, has anyone else noticed the new background music (particularly when they're doing something foolish) that sounds a lot like, if it's not, Hot Butter's "Popcorn"?
I would have posted this sooner, but it has taken me a month to find the artist and name of said tune.
And we have to do a month of search to understand what you referenced too? D=
He probably means the background song "Pinchi Daisuki!"
Nah, it's better off being on Rock Band. Better not give Kotick any more money than he deserves.
they could call it Tea Hero and the Britfags will especially enjoy it
Just K-On! Guitar Hero would sell. K-On Band Hero implies that you would play with friends.
I would buy that in a heartbeat, not because I particularly like K-ON but because the Guitar Hero/Rockband characters are so fucking ugly.
Now I just can't seriously Wait!
This game looks like it's gonna be addictingly fun!
And September! My B-day! This game is just so awesome!! :D
They should just get over with it and label Azunyan as a grade-A biological weapon already...
I'm oozing blood everywhere here... @.@
@Yoshi-kun
Hell yes...
She's a walking MOE~ bomb...With nekomimi ears..!
Sorry but it looks like a game for brain-dead otakus.
No need to worry getting downvoted, this is a freaking BORING gameplay. Rather listen to the song under the blue sky and a green tree in a park or something.
Sega...payin'the bills.
Hurray for full instrument animation!
nice
Should I watch this series? I feel like I should, but haven't. :l
you should watch it, but be warned you may die because moe overdose
K-on is a show every one should watch. For the same reason as Gintama it's fucking hilarious.Even if don't like moe it's still fun to watch.
The first season was great, but the second is much weaker. It's too boring, and there is nothing beside moe, while the first season had some great musics and comedy.
Really? I found the reverse to be true. All of my friends who I've managed to provoke an interest in K-ON! prefer the second season over the first, and actually found the first a bit boring. Personally, I don't find K-ON boring since I managed to sit through .Hack//SIGN without sleeping, but I guess that's just my AZN study skills kicking in.
Neat. l:
why the hell it ain't Yui who's singing fudepen ?
all the K-on sound better when sung by Yui
Lies. How many of the OPs are better than the EDs?
Fail.
Song didnt contain any sign of keyboard yet Mugi was playing something with a serious face.
I could hear the keyboard alright, so you fail.
evidently someone's never heard a hammond b4 >_>
it's hammond b3... b4 was just a virtual instrument ^^'
i tough he was saying b4 like before XD
Wonder if it has the rice bowl event...
..or their tea time events.
Ooh, looks fun. Perfect for someone like me who is not a huge regular music fan (Guitar Hero) or a Miku fan (Project Diva).
The game itself seems really well done, though I hope the difficulty settings can be adjusted.
Sadly, I'm not sure if I'll be actually buying the game as I only buy games with super-special-limited-edition packs with extra stuff.
Another game come out in September.
I know a American grandma who might buy it because "it's cute".
I hope there's a difficulty setting, the trailer seems easy. I already played Project Diva and it's fun.
I already played Guitar Hero and it's fun.
Tak tanya pun..
they missed a few notes music-wise, so I think this vid is set to easy. :3
Lol, playing only with two buttons? So boring. I think that I would stay with Rockin Pretty on NDS.
Taiko no Tatsujin use 4 buttons for playing only 2 notes and is pretty awesome.
It was probably just on normal difficulty. Songs in Project Diva on normal difficulty only use 2 buttons, but on hard difficulty they use all 4 buttons.
This has to be an easy mode because that's a really dull beat map.
A K-ON Rockin' Pretty game would be nice... RP's main fault is the crappy midi music, real music would improve things a lot, because the game elements are actually pretty fun (I like the way notes have to travel different amounts, so that the order things are coming at you isn't necessarily the order you play them). Problem is, you can't do that game on a PSP... and on a DS, the graphics would suck more.
