I was thinking that the whole time myself. I mean, the lashes draw out the eyes a tad more, but she really has a very nice smooth face either way. The only thing with japanese eyes is they can tend to look a little tired, like they're constantly falling asleep, and the lashes tend to disperse that illusion it seems.
