Apparently, makeup is a pretty big deal over there in Japan. You can't be caught outdoors without it or something.

But whatever it is, she's already quite pretty even without the makeup.

Girls look different without makeup - especially heavy makeup that makes them look like a video game character, when their face has been prepared (ie missing half her eyebrows) to receive makeup.

Equally shocking, even the cutest girls will look old when they're old. Keep that in mind if you're one of those guys who pukes when he sees a 25 year old "granny."

The folks who can't register the fact that it is the same person, damn they are stupid. It is so fucking obvious that it is, albeit with tons of make up. I am not saying all good looking girls look homely in reality, but the percentage is a lot higher than you think.

And this is also the reason that I laugh whenever some deluded weeabo declare that Japanese are cuter than all other Asians/Europeans/Americans/others. Reality is that most Japanese have superb make up skills. You only have to pick up some Japanese female magazines and you can see all the make up tricks that they teach to teenagers as soon as they know how to pick up a make up brush. I recommend popteen and vivi. I have picked up magazines from all over the world and non are as informative about make up as the Japanese ones.

(Actually I think most of the females will believe that it is the same person, even though they might be a little surprised. Even if they haven't experience it themselves, they must have seen a degree of it happening to their friends, especially during prom or débutante.)
