I'd say they put on make-up, photoshopped, and went out to get plastic surgery.
perhaps she used lenses to make her eyes appear bigger in the bottom pics :)
the wall picture angle, size and dimension is slgihtly altered on the bottom pics, it could be that she moved the camera but highly likely that it is photoshopped.
As far as I know this woman has been on a Taiwanese TV make-up show demonstrating the make-over, purely through make up.

i think she is cute enough in either pic. if it's a trap like people say, then he did a good job.
it's makeup. there's a girl on youtube that does these makeup tutorials every week. I guess cuz she's sponsored to do so. The great thing about her vids is she starts off w/o any makeup at all. She looks like crap and very 'so-so' (sort of like the girl in the pic above), but after putting on the makeup she's banging material.
Yeah, it's amazing what human females have thought up to make themselves look completely different.

Yes the lower pics look better but the upper ones arnt ugly even that they remember me of my old math teacher...

I agree she looks goods actually if that is a different person or beforehand. She doesn't need any change at all.
At the same time the other person or possible after picture does have a certain cuteness.
When I was in college, most of the girls in my faculty don't wear any makeup until after their third or fourth year (Architecture in Bandung, Indonesia). And our studies made them often come to class early in the morning with no sleep at all... The real beauties really stood out...
Because of this it is easy for me to guess the real face behind the cosmetics when I see the person face to face... but with photoshop these days, I don't know...

You can see on the bottom row photos that they added the most makeup to brows and eyes. The rest is just covered with a layer of make-up powder so she doesn't look so red. If some photoshop master managed to subtly add brows and lashes to the original photos I bet she'd look much better.
