And likely, Ms. Croft was picked as No.1 since she pretty much defined the videogame stereotype of "all female characters have large breasts" that we see today. Before Lara, there was no hot, buxom leading lady (at least, not that could be defined by 16-bit graphics prior to the 32-bit generation).

She has had the single largest impact on female character design, more than anyone else. So obviously she'd be picked as no.1 merely for that contribution alone, regardless of how you'd rate her appearance.

I'm also surprised after all these years Lara is still considered the sexiest. I'd say among western girls, yeah she is. But I still think this is all based off current popularity than anything else. Most casual gamers think of Lara if you ask them the first gaming femme fatal to come into their heads.

Sexy is subjective dumbass, what you described as sexy doesn't appeal to me at all. I don't even find any of the women in that top 10 list slightly attractive, I even found most of them repulsive. Nariko was the only one that seem somewhat attractive and I really thing her design is well done while Chung Li, Tifa and Laura craft are completely repulsive to me. Why most Males still find massive, useless, saggy breasts so appealing will always remain a mystery to me, I can understand the evolutionary reasons but the logical reasons in this day and age confuses me.

A slut and whore mean the same thing the only difference is that whore tends to lean more to 'having sex for person gain' which is closer to a prostitute. While slut can mean prostitute depending on its context whore leans even more so to it.

Most men have conditioned themselves into thinking "slutty" = STDs. The whole sexual morality thing is still very prevalent over most men, especially in the west. What does "slutty" even mean? yeah, i always thought so too. official-wise, she was actually hotter in the PS1 game than the movie (that cg near the end!), but just her character design... she rarely did anything sexy, and rarely acted sexy. and her bust has never been as awesome as it has in basically 95% of her doujin.
