Source is No More Heroes (or its sequel), AFIAK. There were some hilarious anime genre parodies in that and its sequel.

Or horribly bad. There really is no chance for anything in between.
I think the reason there are so many people that are so down on this is that they're so keyed on the idea of anime ideally being done in the moe style and being geared toward causing arousal when any sexual discussion or content is present, that the PPG-style animation and obviously humorous slant to the raunch confuses their little Strike Pantsu fan minds.
It's the same reason why Mitsudomoe is getting so much haet despite its genius, and conversely also why Seitokai Yakuindomo is still popular to some because the characters are cute, even though the hit-and-miss sexual humor is largely of the "miss" variety.
Somebody else mentioned this earlier too, but I hope this channels all the great trashy psuedo-ero stuff of yesteryear, like Kekko-Kamen and Gautaman, etc... I miss that sort of stuff!
