Most russians share ancestry with asians(a man-made border on a geographical map isn't going to magically seperate genetics). So, viewing her as a western cosplayer is misleading, especially since western media depicts russia as an eastern power.

the blouse are a little too shiny, the hair are not accurate, hair color also too dark and shiny, I like the green color (on clothes) she uses though, the detail also very good, we need more armpit to be visible, and I believe Miku only have one "01" tatoo, the pin on her tie are on reverse side, her DFC also decent.
overall I give her 8, the error on her costume are something that can easily fixed and not too critical.

Miku's hair color depends on her mood, mood of producer, your mood, color temperature of your monitor and wig cosplayer can get. So nope, it is not fail.
For a non-asian cosplay which pretty much favorable to Sankaku this is acutally dam good.

Pretty good, though her wig really irks me. Miku/Miku-esque wigs are crazy easy to get, and hers is just wrong.
I also hate it when people cosplay default Miku with heels, but meh. Can't complain. Overall it's a good cosplay.
So much is wrong with this cosplay. The wig is shit, her shoes are completely wrong, the headphones are inaccurate and the outfit itself is just badly put together. She either bought the entire thing from a shit tier seller on eBay or she made it herself.
She's just lucky she's a gorgeous girl.
seriously,the cloth its so the costume doesnt get dirty, alot of costumes - they have to buy or make for themselves and it doesnt come cheap if u buy it and its alot of work to make. It would be a waste if a stain of some sort sticks to the costume and can't come off don't u think?

What's SO good about this cosplay? Something seems off about her clothes, her wig is totally wrong, etc.
Silly, Cosplay isn't about how good your costume is, it's about how good you look.
Her twin tails are often portrayed to be longer in other versions... Like Tony Taka's, but I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with the wig.
As for the clothes, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Unless you're talking about her chest. But not everyone likes DFC Miku of Project Diva 2nd.
The wig is made out of cheap material and has a plastic sheen when photographed. The costume is accurate enough but also slapped together out of cheap materials. Just makes for a bad looking costume, overall.
The green belt (don't know ho to say it) is in right side instead of left?

What's confusing here is that they've clearly paid a fair amount of attention to details, but:
* Nametag is on the left, correct.
* Green collar tab is on the left, correct.
* Tie pins are on the left, incorrect.
* Vestigial belt is on the right, incorrect.
I like it anyway.
Hmm, good eye. Although, it seems the strap is missing from some of the pictures altogether, and is missing the triangle markings. Her stockings are also missing the proper markings.

This is hardly good. Her clothing lacks several details, this JADE GREEN wig don't fit Miku at all and she is average looking at best. I've seen many better western Miku cosplays. Sorry.
That being said... I do prefer the Aqua colored Miku more... But I don't think jade green is something she should lose points for. As far as we know, Miku's hair is only a variation of green.
The only thing 'stunning' about this article is the article itself. I find it stunning that this cosplay is called stunning, because it obviously is not.
to enumerate my points:
- NOT DFC!!! Her boobs are too big; it should be near the degree of FLATNESS that miku has.
- The Hair. I'm not sure if it is caused by the bad lighting, but shiny hair in cosplay is not really appealing (for me). It's like AMURIA was part of the team that made this cosplay. AMURIA specially made her wig and actually used and abused photoshop's dodge and burn tools in real life. MOAR SHINEY PLZZ!!
- protruding chin is not a common sight in moe anime art style. 'nuff said
- Her zetai ryouki did not give me a hard on.
Not to mention the bad photography.
Stop looking at the details, you 2d Otaku.
You may complain about the cosplay outfit itself being wrong, but stop complaining about the cosplayer herself.
There will almost never be a perfect match for the 2d counterpart, and for an Western cosplay this looks fabolous.

Really good cosplay, I have seen many good non-asian cosplays. She actually looks way hotter than most of them.

Agreed as the most likely explanation, except it's not applied consistently - she'd be dirtying her shimapan or skirt in the bottom-left photo. (and it's kinda ugly, I'd just bring a brush and clean the surface a bit, would take all of ten seconds)

Agreed that westerners usually look better in cosplay. Most anime characters look far more western then they do japanese, even the characters that are supposed to be japanese.
